A blower configured to circulate cold air inside a body of a refrigerator. The blower includes a casing, an impeller accommodated in the casing, and a support member configured to support the impeller against the casing. The impeller includes a disk-shaped base plate rotatably supported by the support member. The casing includes an inner circumferential surface extending so as to gradually move away from an outer circumference of the base plate toward a rotational direction of the impeller at a predetermined position around the outer circumference of the base plate, and a first case flow path between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumference. An introduction port configured to introduce the cold air to a second case flow path branched from the first case flow path is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the casing.

Blower and refrigerator

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a main cabinet including a cooling device to generate cold air, a sub-cabinet detachably connected to the main cabinet, a cold air relay duct provided to connect the main cabinet and the sub-cabinet and having a cold air flow path to allow the cold air generated by the cooling device to be delivered to the sub-cabinet, and a heat blocking member provided in a portion of the cold air flow path at which the main cabinet and the cold air relay duct are connected and in a portion of the cold air flow path at which the sub-cabinet and the cold air relay duct are connected.

Refrigerator

A refrigerator having detachably adjacent cabinets is provided. The refrigerator includes a connection mechanism interposed between cabinets adjacent to each other and connecting the cabinets to each other and a manipulation portion configured to drive the connection mechanism by being manipulated from outside, wherein the connection mechanism is configured for the cabinet on one side is pulled toward the cabinet on the other side by a manipulation of the manipulation portion.

The refrigerator includes a main refrigerator body including a machine room and a cooling chamber, an evaporator contained in the machine room, and a cooling unit detachably mounted in the machine room and including a compressor, a condenser, and an insulation member, wherein the cooling unit, while mounted in the machine room, has the insulation member tightly contact an inner wall of the machine room to form an insulation space, and the evaporator is contained in the insulation space.

Provided herein is a door opening and closing apparatus capable of reducing torque of a motor required for removing an adhesive force between a door and a housing. The door opening and closing apparatus includes a motor configured to output power for opening and closing a door, a power transmission apparatus configured to transmit the power of the motor to a hinge by rotation of a plurality of driving gears, and an auxiliary apparatus configured to generate an auxiliary force for moving the door at a closing position toward an opening position, where the auxiliary force is generated at the auxiliary apparatus by the power of the motor before the power of the motor is transmitted to the hinge through the power transmission apparatus.

An air conditioner has a dust catch filter interposed between an inlet and a heat exchanger, a cleaning unitfor removing dust caught by the filter, and filter driverfor reciprocally driving the filter with respect to the cleaning unit. The cleaning unithas a dust boxhaving a cleaning brush for removing dust caught on the surface of the filter and a filter hold plate that is attached to the dust boxand that holds a rear surface of the filter.
