A display device includes: a first closed-bottomed lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a second closed-bottomed lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; and an adjustment mechanism that couples the first lens tube and the second lens tube and is capable of adjusting a distance between the first lens tube and the second lens tube. The adjustment mechanism includes an operable part that adjusts the distance between the first lens tube and the second lens tube.

Display device

A display device includes: a first closed-bottom lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a second closed-bottom lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; an adjustment mechanism including a first rod that extends from the first lens tube and a second rod that extends from the second lens tube and is rotatably connected relative to the first rod; and an image maintainer that, in accordance with the angle of rotation of the first and second rods of the adjustment mechanism, rotates the first and second display parts relative to the first and second lens tubes to bring the horizontal directions of the first and second display parts closer to the arrangement direction of the first and second lens tubes.

A display device includes: a closed-bottomed first lens tube including a first display part on the closed bottom for displaying a first image; a closed-bottomed second lens tube including a second display part on the closed bottom for displaying a second image; an adjustment mechanism including an operable part that is provided between and adjusts a distance between the first and second lens tubes; and an eye cup provided for each of the first and second lens tubes that is tubular and detachably attached to the open end of the first or second lens tube. The eye cup includes: an insertion part that is tubular and inserted inside the first or second lens tube; and a cup part having a curved sheet shape that extends outside of the first or second lens tube.

The image outputter, in accordance with the angle of rotation of the first and second rods of the adjustment mechanism, controls and outputs the first and second images to bring the horizontal directions thereof closer to the arrangement direction of the first and second lens tubes.

Head mounted display device

There is provided a reproduction device that outputs a video signal to a display device via predetermined communication, the video signal including a video having pictures and corresponding pieces of image characteristic information. The reproduction device includes: an obtaining unit that obtains a first time difference between a timing at which the display device displays one picture among the pictures and a timing used by the display device to display one of the pieces of image characteristic information corresponding to the one picture; an adjuster that adjusts at least one of a timing at which the pictures are outputted and a timing at which the pieces of image characteristic information are outputted to reduce the first time difference; and an output unit that outputs the pictures and the pieces of image characteristic information via the predetermined communication at the time adjusted by the adjuster.

Reproduction device, reproduction method, display device, and display method

In a recording device, a playback buffer is provided between a TS decoder and an AV decoder and an internal memory is provided within the AV decoder. This being so, a video frame which is being played precedes a video frame which is being received, by about six frames. This time interval between reception and playback poses a problem when manual recording is performed. To solve the problem, the same video frames which are to be played by the AV decoder are stored in a record buffer. In this way, even if the time interval exists between reception and playback, the currently played video frame and subsequent video frames can be read from the record buffer and written onto an HDD.

Recording device, recording method, and computer-readable program

A recorded state monitoring portion,monitors a state where a recording instruction to a storage device,is executed. A recording managing portion,judges whether or not the result of the monitoring by the recorded state monitoring portion,satisfies a predetermined condition, to issue the recording instruction to the storage device,when the result of the judgment is affirmative, while issuing a recording instruction to an auxiliary storage device,when it is negative. Data continuously fed are recorded upon being shared between the storage device,and the auxiliary storage device,, so that the apparent recording speed is equal to the sum of the recording speed of the storage device,and the recording speed of the auxiliary storage device,, thereby making higher-speed recording possible.

Data recording apparatus and method

Disclosed is a recording device for recording data in a recording/reproduction device using a recording medium in which the recording-rate performance showing the recordable data quantity per unit time varies area to area. The recording device comprises a data memory unit for temporarily storing data to be recorded; a data quantity management unit for managing the quantity of data in the memory unit, and requesting execution of writing data in the recording medium; a medium area management unit for managing an available area in the recording medium, and deciding a data write position; and a data transfer control unit for controlling transfer of data from the data memory unit to the recording/reproduction device according to the write position generated by the medium area management unit. The medium area management unit includes an area-division management section for dividing the recording medium into plural speed areas of different recording-rate performances, and managing the speed areas. The data quantity management unit includes a recording rate control unit for setting a rate of recording the data stored in the data memory unit according to the quantity of the data stored in the data memory unit. The speed areas on which data are to be recorded are switched on the basis of the recording rate set by the recording rate control unit. Therefore, the medium is used efficiently without being restricted by the recording-rate performance of a lower-speed area in the medium.

Recording device and recording method

The address generation unit 166 generates a write address for each picture data to be written in the frame memory 169. The memory control unit 165 writes picture data which have the same Y address and consecutive X addresses to the first bank and the second bank alternately per one-page mode length, and further writes picture data which have the same X address and adjacent Y addresses to the different banks. The memory control unit 165 determines a minimum area which consists of an odd number of page mode lengths and includes picture data of a square area having the same Y address, and reads the determined area from the two storage areas alternately per Y address.
