A control device includes: an output unit that outputs a signal for prompting an electronic device to execute a predetermined operation; a function switch unit that includes a plurality of switches each having a contactor formed such that at least a portion of the contactor is elastically displaceable in a predetermined direction; and a label body that has a display part and a protruding part protruding from the display part, the label body being mounted in a state where the protruding part is inserted into a hole in a housing and the display part is positioned on an outside of the housing. The protruding part of the label body determines a combination of open or closed states of the plurality of switches. The predetermined operation is determined according to the combination.

Controller

The diversity reception device includes an antenna switching unit configured to select and switch to a determined chain number of antennas out of a plurality of antennas; and an antenna interchange control unit configured to control the antenna switching unit to interchange an antenna. The antenna interchange control unit compares a carrier-to-noise ratio measured by a demodulation circuit of a demodulation unit of each chain, controls the antenna switching unit to sequentially switch connection with an antenna of a chain having a lowest carrier-to-noise ratio to connection with antennas connectable to the chain, and interchanges the antenna of the chain having a lowest carrier-to-noise ratio with an antenna estimated to have a highest carrier-to-noise ratio on the basis of the input level measured by the level detection unit or an antenna having a highest input level measured by the level detection unit among the connection-switched antennas.

Diversity reception device

A digital broadcast transmission device generates channel combination information associating a plurality of physical channels. The digital broadcast transmission device divides a bit stream into a plurality of bit streams, the bit stream including program-related information having added thereto channel combination information, and transmits the divided bit streams on the plurality of physical channels, respectively. A digital broadcast reception device selects the plurality of physical channels using a plurality of front ends based on the channel combination information, and demodulates broadcast waves received on the plurality of physical channels, respectively. The digital broadcast reception device combines bit streams obtained from the demodulation, and outputs the combined bit stream. The digital broadcast reception device also simultaneously transmits a light bit stream on a different single physical channel, the light bit stream being a bit stream smaller in amount of information than the combined bit stream.
