A driving assistance apparatus installed in a vehicle, the apparatus comprising an image capturing unit configured to capture an image of a left-rearward area and a right-rearward area of the vehicle, a display unit configured to display an image capturing result from the image capturing unit as an image, and a control unit configured to control the driving of the display unit, wherein the control unit causes an icon for communicating predetermined information to a driver to be displayed over the image capturing result, at a position of a corner part corresponding to an upper part on a vehicle body side of the image displayed by the display unit.

Imaging unit for vehicle

A vehicle imaging unit includes an imaging apparatus, a housing, and a lamp body unit. The imaging apparatus images a side rear direction of a vehicle. The housing houses the imaging apparatus and is attached to a side part of a vehicle body. The lamp body unit is attached to an outer part in a vehicle width direction of the housing and emits light to the outside. A lens arrangement part that exposes an imaging lens of the imaging apparatus to the outside is provided at an outer part in the vehicle width direction of a rear surface of the housing. A notch part at which the lamp body unit is arranged is provided on an outer wall in the vehicle width direction of the housing.

Side mirror device

A door mirror device includes a mirror housing mounted to a mirror base, a folding mechanism for enabling the mirror housing to pivot rearward of the vehicle when a load higher than a predetermined value is applied to the mirror housing from the front side of the vehicle. The mirror housing has a first region occupying more than half of the vertical area of the mirror housing and has a second region occupying a less area than the first region. The outer surface of the second region is located in front of the outer surface of the first region. The acute angle in a plan view between the outer surface of the second region and an outer side surface of the vehicle is greater than the acute angle between the outer surface of the first region and the outer side surface of the vehicle.

Door mirror device for vehicle

A vehicle seat housing apparatus wherein a seat is swung back from a seatable position by a support mechanism and housed in a housing recess part such that the bottom is oriented upward, the housing recess part is formed on the floor behind the seat. The support mechanism includes a first support member, a second support member, a coupling shaft, and a folding mechanism. The first support member extends from either the floor or the housing recess part. The second support member extends from the bottom surface of the seat to the first support member. The coupling shaft couples the second support member to the first support member so as to allow back and forth swinging movement. The folding mechanism, when the seat is housed in the housing recess part, folds the first and second support members in a direction eliminating protrusion to the passenger compartment from the floor.
