An ophthalmologic apparatus includes a subjective measurement optical system configured to measure a subjective refractive value of a subject eye; an objective measurement optical system configured to measure objective refractive characteristics of the subject eye; and a controller configured to control the subjective measurement optical system and the objective measurement optical system. The controller is further configured to perform measurement of the objective refractive characteristics of the subject eye by the objective measurement optical system and perform objective monitoring to monitor objective measurement information obtained by the measurement of the objective refractive characteristics during a weakest power test in which a weakest point is being obtained by the subjective measurement optical system, a maximum visual acuity value or a set predetermined visual acuity value being readable from the weakest point.

An ophthalmic apparatus of an aspect example applies optical coherence tomography (OCT) to an eye, and includes an interferometer, an OCT data generating unit, an optical path length changing unit, and a processing unit. The interferometer includes a measurement arm and a reference arm. The OCT data generating unit is configured to generate OCT data based on an output from the interferometer. The optical path length changing unit is configured to change at least one of the optical path length of the measurement arm and the optical path length of the reference arm. The processing unit is configured to control the optical path length changing unit to place partial data of the OCT data corresponding to a predetermined part of the eye at a standard depth level. The standard depth level is set based on a predetermined ocular parameter value.

An ophthalmologic apparatus includes an OCT measurement unit, a corneal shape measurement unit, an eyeball model generator, and a site specifying unit. The OCT measurement unit is configured to acquire data of a subject's eye by deflecting measurement light using an optical scanner to project onto the subject's eye and detecting interference light between returning light of the measurement light from the subject's eye and reference light. The corneal shape measurement unit is configured to obtain curvature radius distribution on a cornea by detecting returning light of a measurement pattern projected onto a cornea of the subject's eye. The eyeball model generator is configured to generate an eyeball model using the curvature radius distribution on the cornea. The site specifying unit is configured to specify a traveling direction of the measurement light by performing ray tracing on the measurement light incident on each of a plurality of incident positions on the cornea based on a scan angle and the eyeball model, and to specify a position corresponding to an intraocular site of the subject's eye in the traveling direction based on the data acquired using the measurement light.

Ophthalmologic apparatus and method of controlling the same

An ophthalmic apparatus of an exemplary embodiment is capable of applying OCT to the fundus of a subject's eye, and includes an optical system, an optical scanner, an optical path length changing device, and a controller. The optical system splits light output front a light source into measurement light and reference light, projects the measurement light onto the fundus, generates interference light by superposing returning light of the measurement light from the subject's eye on the reference light, and detects the interference light. The optical scanner deflects the measurement light for scanning the fundus. The optical path length changing device changes at least one of an optical path length of the measurement light and an optical path length of the reference light. The controller controls the optical scanner based on at least the optical path length.

An eye-fatigue examining device and an eye-fatigue examining method capable of examining eye fatigue of a subject's eye regardless of an age of a patient are provided. The eye-fatigue examining device includes: a light quantity difference adjusting unit that increases a light quantity difference between lights respectively incident on right and left subject's eyes; a gaze direction detecting unit that detects gaze directions of the respective subject's eyes while the light quantity difference adjusting unit increases the light quantity difference; and a light quantity difference deciding unit that decides a specific light quantity difference at which a change in the gaze directions due to the increase in the light quantity difference occurs, based on the detection result of the gaze direction detecting unit.

An ophthalmic apparatus of an embodiment include a data acquisition device, distribution data generator, correction value calculator, magnification corrector, and data comparator. The data acquisition device acquires three dimensional data by applying OCT to the fundus of a subject's eye. The distribution data generator generates distribution data of a predetermined measurement value in the fundus based on the three dimensional data. The correction value calculator calculates a magnification correction value based on a predetermined condition for acquiring the three dimensional data. The magnification corrector changes at least one of the size of standard distribution data generated in advance for the predetermined measurement value and the size of the distribution data, based on the magnification correction value. The data comparator compares the distribution data with the standard distribution data, at least one of whose sizes has been changed by the magnification corrector.

According to one embodiment, a fundus imaging apparatus includes a light source, an optical scanner, an optical fiber, a light guide system, a photodetector unit, and an image forming unit. The optical scanner scans the fundus of a subject's eye with light from the light source. The optical fiber includes a plurality of optical waveguides. The light guide system guides the light returning from the fundus to the entrance end of the optical fiber. The photodetector unit detects light output from each of at least three regions at the exit end of the optical fiber. The image forming unit forms a first image based on a detection result of light output from a first region of the at least three regions, and a second image based on detection results of light output from two or more regions of the at least three regions other than the first region.
