Disclosed is a kit for adhesion between an alginate impression material for dental use and an impression tray, which contains: (U) a pretreatment agent that contains (I) 100 parts by mass of an organic solvent that has a solubility parameter (&#x3b4;) of 17.0-23.0 [(MPa)] and (II) 0.1-30 parts by mass of inorganic particles having an average particle diameter of 10 &#x3bc;m or less; and (V1) an adhesive that contains (I) a polyamine compound that contains two or more amino groups in each molecule and (III) a lower alcohol solvent, or (V2) an adhesive that is obtained by mixing (I) a polyamine compound that contains two or more amino groups in each molecule, (II) an organic peroxide and (III) a lower alcohol solvent.

Kit for adhesion between alginate impression material for dental use and impression tray

In dental crown restoration, a dental shade guide which is selected to match patient's teeth comprises a shade-guide portion and a handle. A molding device for molding the dental shade guide comprises a molding plate having a shade-guide molding portion and a handle-holding groove. The molding plate is closed by a cover. While the handle is held in the handle-holding groove of the molding plate, dental composite resin paste is filled in the shade-guide molding portion and the upper surface of the molding plate is tightly pressed by the inner surface of the cover.

An adhesive composition comprising (A) a polymerizable monomer component containing not less than 5% by mass of an acidic group-containing polymerizable monomer, (B) a polyvalent metal ion-eluting filler, (C) a volatile organic solvent, and (D) water, wherein the polyvalent metal ion-eluting filler (B) is blended in such an amount that the amount of the polyvalent metal ions eluted out from the filler becomes 1.0 to 7.0 meq per gram of the polymerizable monomer component (A), the volatile organic solvent (C) is blended in an amount in a range of 30 to 150 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the polymerizable monomer component (A) and so as to satisfy 20&#xb7;X parts by mass or more (X is a number representing the amount of elution of the polyvalent metal ions), and the water (D) is blended in an amount of 3 to 30 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the polymerizable monomer component (A). The composition maintains a large strength of adhesion to the teeth, can be preserved in the form of one package, and can be used as a material for pre-treating the teeth and as a dental adhesive.

One-package dental adhesive composition

A dental catalyst for chemical polymerization comprising an acidic compound, an organic peroxide such as cumene hydroperoxide, and aryl borate compound such as sodium tetraphenylborate, but without substantially containing amine compound. This catalyst is chemically highly stable, is easy to handle, is highly active, is less likely to be impaired by polymerization, and does not cause the cured product to be tinted or discolored, and is very useful for the dental restorative.

A dental composition containing an acid such as maleic acid, phosphoric acid or citric acid; an organosulfonate and/or an organosulfinate such as an acid group-containing (meth)acrylate monomer having in the molecules thereof a carboxyl group or a phosphoric acid group, a sodium benzenesulfonate or a sodium p-toluenesulfinate; a water-soluble organic solvent such as ethanol or propanol; and the water: but without substantially containing any polymerizable monomer except the above acid group-containing (meth)acrylate monomer, or further containing a hydroxy- or a dihydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate monomer. For adhesion of a dental filling material to teeth, the composition of the invention is used as a pre-treatment agent on teeth prior to applying an adhesive. This makes it possible to treat enamel and dentin simultaneously and to accomplish strong adhesive strength to both of them. The composition does not excessively remove smear plugs in the dentin after it is treated, and external stimulation is less probable to reach the dental pulp.
