A current interruption device includes a conductive plate and a first deformable plate. The conductive plate includes a center portion and a peripheral portion surrounding the center portion. An upper surface of the center portion is formed in a planar shape spreading in a first direction and a second direction orthogonal thereto in a conductive state. The peripheral portion includes an inclined portion extending outward from a boundary between the center portion and the peripheral portion. An upper surface of the inclined portion is inclined so as to increase a distance to the first deformable plate as the upper surface of the inclined portion becomes farther away from the center portion when the conductive plate and the first deformable plate are viewed along the first direction or the second direction in the conductive state.

Current interruption device and electricity storage device including the same

A current interruption device includes a first conductive member, a second conductive member, a first deformable member, a second deformable member, and a first seal member. The second conductive member is disposed at a position opposed to the first conductive member. A center portion of the first deformable member is fixed to the second conductive member. The second deformable member is disposed on a side opposite to the first deformable member relative to the second conductive member. The first seal member is disposed between the first conductive member and the second conductive member. A second seal member is disposed between the first conductive member and the casing. A gas permeability between the casing and the first conductive member is equal to or less than a gas permeability between the first conductive member and the second conductive member.

A current interruption device includes a first conductive member, a second conductive member, a first deformable member, and a second deformable member. The first conductive member is fixed to a casing. The second conductive member is disposed at a position opposed to the first conductive member. The first deformable member is in contact with the second conductive member when pressure in the casing is equal to or less than a predetermined value. Further, the first deformable member is brought out of contact with the second conductive member when the pressure in the casing exceeds the predetermined value. A plastic deformation portion deformed in a manner of projecting toward the second conductive member is provided on a center portion of the second deformable member.

A current interruption device includes a deforming plate, a contact plate and a conducting plate which configure a current path. The deforming plate includes one surface on an opposite side from the contact plate facing a first space, a pressure of which is retained to a same pressure as the internal pressure of the casing and the other surface opposed to the contact plate facing a second space, a pressure of which is retained to a same pressure as an external pressure of the casing. When the internal pressure rises above the predetermined level, the second contact portion is separated from the conducting plate by deformation of the deforming plate toward the contacting plate.

A current interruption device is provided with a first conducting member that is fixed to a casing, a second conducting member that is disposed at a position opposed to the first conducting member, a first deforming member, and a second deforming member. The first deforming member makes contact with the second conducting member when pressure in the casing is equal to or less than a predetermined value, and is configured not to make contact with the second conducting member when the pressure in the casing exceeds the predetermined value. The second deforming member is provided with a projection in a shape projecting toward a center portion of the second conducting member. A restricting structure that restricts a movement of the first deforming member is provided on the first conducting member. A restricting structure that restricts a movement of the second deforming member is provided on the second conducting member.
