An object is to provide a technology capable of suppressing life deterioration of a laser light source device. A laser light source device includes a laser bank having a plurality of semiconductor laser elements, a drive part for applying an electric current to the plurality of semiconductor laser elements of the laser bank, a light intensity detection part for detecting light intensity output from the laser bank, a temperature detection part for detecting a temperature of the laser bank, and a control part for determining an electric current limit value based on the detected temperature, and for controlling the electric current of the drive part based on the detected light intensity and the electric current limit value.

Laser light source device and method of controlling same

A light source apparatus includes a cooling mechanism driving portion for driving a cooling mechanism in such a manner that an element temperature of a light source element which is detected by an element temperature detecting portion reaches a target temperature, and a control portion for calculating a dew point temperature of the cooling mechanism and controlling the cooling mechanism driving portion and a light source element driving portion by using the calculated dew point temperature and the element temperature.

Light source apparatus

A projection image display device includes an indoor unit to be located indoors and an outdoor unit to be located outdoors. The outdoor unit includes a second refrigerant piping that forms a loop refrigerant path in combination with a first refrigerant piping, a cooling device, and a cooling control circuit that controls cooling for R, G, B laser heat sinks by the cooling device. The indoor unit includes a main control circuit that communicates with the cooling control circuit to control the cooling by the cooling device.

Projection image display device

A semiconductor lighting apparatus includes a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices for outputting light having respective colors, a projector for synthesizing output light of the semiconductor light emitting devices and outputting synthesized light, and a calculating portion. The calculating portion controls a driving current to be supplied to the semiconductor light emitting devices in such a manner that a light quantity detected by optical sensors approximates to a predetermined target light quantity, and calculates a target temperature of the semiconductor light emitting devices to control temperature regulating portions in such a manner that a temperature detected by temperature sensors approximates to the target temperature.

Semiconductor lighting apparatus

A laser light source projector includes a plurality of light sources of color groups each including a plurality of laser light sources. The laser light source projector projects an image by driving the laser light sources in each of the color groups. In response to change of the light output characteristics of one or a plurality of laser light sources in an arbitrary color group, light output from a remaining laser light source in the arbitrary color group is adjusted, thereby keeping white balance constant.

There is provided an image display device including: a laser element that generates light for projecting and displaying an image on a display screen; a Peltier device unit that cools the laser element; a detecting unit that detects a temperature of the laser element; and a control unit that controls driving of the Peltier device unit so that a temperature detected by the detecting unit becomes a target temperature, wherein the control unit controls driving of the laser element to reduce a light output of the laser element when a driving rate of the Peltier device unit exceeds a threshold that indicates that the driving rate approaches a maximum value.
