A connector structure installed in the electric vehicle includes a plurality of connectors, an inter-connector conductive member configured to electrically connect the plurality of connectors, and a connector casing configured to house the inter-connector conductive member. A cover is attached to the unused connector of the plurality of connectors.

Connector structure and electric vehicle

A connector device comprises a connector and a mating connector connectable with each other. The mating connector comprises a mating primary terminal and a mating secondary terminal. The connector comprises a primary terminal, a secondary terminal, an operation member and a push-back mechanism. The operation member changes its state from an initial state to a second state via a second state. When the state of the operation member is changed to the first state, the primary terminal is connected to the mating primary terminal. When the state of the operation member is changed to the second state, the secondary terminal is connected to the mating secondary terminal. When the state of the operation member is changed to the first state, the push-back mechanism applies a push-back force to the operation member to change the state of the operation member back toward the initial state.

Connector device

In a battery pack for an electric car, a plurality of battery modules are mounted to be divided between the front and rear of a middle cross member and a main switch and a junction board are disposed in the front and rear of the middle cross member respectively. A bent part of a second high voltage cable, which bends into a U-shape and pass through beneath the middle cross member, is held by a cable holder and fixed to a fixing part. Since only a bus bar disposed in the intermediate part of the first high voltage cable is bent into a U-shape and passed through beneath the middle cross member, not only is a wiring operation of the first high voltage cable easy, but it is also possible to minimize the length of the bus bar to thus enhance the reliability with respect to vibration.

Battery pack for electric car

An electric connector of the snap-in-fitting system comprises a couple of male and female connector members both made of an electrically-conductive material. The female connector member has a female engaging part or outer ring part for snap-in-fitting and the male connector member has a male engaging part or outer ring part to be fitted in and engaged with the female engaging part by snap-in-fitting. The interaction part in snap-in-fitting of the male engaging part and the female engaging part is an inclined engaging surface and adapted to apply load to the female engaging part so as to always urge the female engaging part outward. Preferably, the inclined engaging surface is a tapered surface convergent toward the male connector member side. Such an electric connector of the snap-in-fitting system is useful for the connection of a storage power supply unit of an electric vehicle and of a battery unit of a portable type electronic device, particularly an ultra capacitor or a storage cell (capacitor cell) of a battery.
