A photosensor includes a sensor module in which emitter and receiver leads protrude from a circuit-encapsulating portion in a direction intersecting with a direction in which an external connecting terminal extends. The photosensor includes a light emitter, a light receiver, a circuit-encapsulating portion, a connecting terminal, first and second emitter leads, and first and second receiver leads. When the connecting terminal extends in a first direction, and a first plane is parallel to the first direction, the first and second emitter leads protrude from the circuit-encapsulating portion in a direction parallel to the first plane and intersecting with the first direction, and extend opposite to the first direction. The first and second receiver leads protrude from the circuit-encapsulating portion in the direction parallel to the first plane and intersecting with the first direction and opposite to a direction in which the first and second emitter leads protrude, and extend opposite to the first direction. The first and second emitter leads and the first and second receiver leads are deformed to allow the light receiver and the light emitter to face each other.

A switch includes a switch main body having a movable section displaceable downward by pressure to bring a movable contact into contact with a fixed contact, the movable section being displaced upward to open each contact by a release of pressure; a button section that presses the movable section in response to a downward pressing operation; and a support arm having one end portion supporting the button section. An end of the support arm not coupled to the button section is turnable and held at a location in a support surface arranged vertically. The button section bottom surface is inclined and separated from the movable section when the button section is not pressed. When the button section is pressed and is lowered to a position at which the fixed contact and the movable contact are closed, the bottom surface is in an approximately horizontal state and presses the movable section.

A first light-blocking member and a second light-blocking member are adhered to each other by forming a light-transmitting layer having a light-transmitting composition serving as a base material and a light-transmitting filler different in index of refraction from this light-transmitting composition on a front surface of the first light-blocking member. A liquid light curing adhesive is applied to a front surface of the light-transmitting layer. The second light-blocking member is arranged on the front surface of the light-transmitting layer to which the liquid light curing adhesive has been applied. The liquid light curing adhesive is cured by irradiating the light-transmitting layer with light having a prescribed wavelength laterally from a side of the light-transmitting layer so as to adhere the light-transmitting layer and the second light-blocking member to each other. By adhering light-blocking members to each other, an adhesion operation may easily and quickly be performed with sufficient adhesion strength.
