A conductive roll having at least one conductive elastic layer on the outer periphery of a core bar, the conductive elastic layer being granted conductivity by carbon black, is provided. The conductive elastic layer is prepared by reacting at least a polyol consisting essentially of a polyether-based polyol with a diisocyanate with the use of a tetravalent organotin-based compound having a tin content of 18.7% or less by weight as a catalyst. A method for producing the conductive roll is also provided.

The conductive roller having a metallic core and at least one rubber elastic layer provided on the outer peripheral surface of the core, the rubber elastic layer being formed from a conductive rubber to which conductivity has been imparted by carbon powder, wherein the conductive roller satisfies the relationship represented by formula (1):&#x2267;5&#x2003;&#x2003;(1),wherein Zr (&#x3a9;) represents a resistance component and Zc (&#x3a9;) represents a capacitive reactance component, the resistance component Zr (&#x3a9;) and the capacitive reactance component Zc (&#x3a9;) being calculated respectively from impedance Z (&#x3a9;) and phase difference &#x3b8;, when the impedance Z (&#x3a9;) is measured upon application of an AC voltage of 0.2 V at a frequency of 1 Hz to the rubber elastic layer.

Conductive roller and inspection method therefor

A tool for applying liquids has a nozzle portion which is provided with a spatulate section having a discharge orifice in the side thereof from which the liquid emerges.
