Provided is a backlight unit capable of reducing luminance unevenness. The backlight unit includes a plurality of dot light sources and a light guide plate in which a predetermined side surface serves as a light incident surface for introducing light from the plurality of dot light sources. The plurality of dot light sources are classified into a first light source group and a second light source group. A mount point of the first light source group and a mount point of the second light source group are displaced from each other in a thickness direction of the light guide plate. A total luminance of the first light source group is higher than a total luminance of the second light source group.

A converter having that feed horn structure, and a satellite communication receiving antenna can be obtained. The feed horn structure of a satellite communication receiving converter includes a cylindrical feed horn receiving a radio wave from an antenna portion and guiding the radio wave, and a horn cap fixed to the feed horn so as to surround one end of the feed horn at antenna side. The feed horn and the horn cap are integrated by integral molding.

Feed horn structure and manufacturing method thereof, converter, and satellite communication receiving antenna

A feed horn structure in which a feed horn and a horn cap can be combined without generating whitening, crack and the like, a manufacturing method thereof, a converter having that feed horn structure, and a satellite communication receiving antenna can be obtained. The feed horn structure of a satellite communication receiving converter includes a cylindrical feed horn receiving a radio wave from an antenna portion and guiding the radio wave, and a horn cap fixed to the feed horn so as to surround one end of the feed horn at antenna side. The feed horn and the horn cap are integrated by integral molding.

A pair of wave receiving probes is provided on opposite sides of an opening portion formed in a substrate. A waveguide is provided on one side of the substrate, and a wave reflecting unit is provided on the other side of the substrate. The wave reflecting unit is provided with a wave reflecting surface on an inner side of its end surface portion. A partition wall in a stepped pattern is provided in the waveguide, which penetrates the opening portion and extends to the end surface portion, thereby dividing the wave reflecting surface into two. The partition wall partitions the wave-guiding space formed by the waveguide, substrate and wave reflecting unit into two spaces. Accordingly, a polarized wave separator excellent in separating characteristics and preventing wave loss is realized.

A terminal structure and a universal low noise blockdown converter having a multiple number of terminals for receiving a radio wave signal transmitted from satellites and converting it to an intermediate-frequency signal. The terminal structure includes: a terminal joint module having a multiple number of cylindrical outer conductors each having a core conductor inside the cylinder and a plate-like attachment base on which the cylindrical outer conductors are put together, wherein the outer conductors and the attachment base are integrally formed of an identical material or different materials. The universal low noise blockdown converter includes the above-described terminal structure in such an arrangement that the attachment base is fixed to one end face of the converter body.

A bend portion is provided on the inside of a waveguide main body for bending a proceeding direction of a radio wave from a waveguide on the side of a primary feed horn. The radio wave is transmitted with its proceeding direction changed such that an electric field of the radio wave is parallel with a conversion unit. Further provided on the inside of the waveguide main body is a conversion unit including a microstrip line for converting the radio wave from the bend portion to supply electric power.
