The estimator learning device contains an image acquisition unit that acquires stained images provided by photographing respectively in a plurality of wavebands a biomaterial sample that has been stained with a prescribed staining solution; a cell nucleus extraction unit that extracts a cell nucleus region present in the biomaterial sample in each of the stained images; a color information acquisition unit that calculates, for each of the stained images, an absorbance in each of the wavebands in the cell nucleus region; and an estimator learning unit that, based on a relationship between the absorbance in each of the wavebands and information associated with the biomaterial sample and relating to whether the cell nucleus present in the biomaterial sample is in a prescribed state, trains an estimator that estimates whether the cell nucleus is in the prescribed state from the absorbance in each of the wavebands.

An automatic needle mover for moving a medical threaded needle includes: two shafts extending in the same direction and slidable relative to each other along a longitudinal direction; a needle-holding portion provided on one end side of the second shaft; a needle-receiving portion provided on one end side of the first shaft; and a handle serving as a control portion for controlling the sliding of the two shafts. The needle-holding portion has a first claw portion protruding in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the shafts. The needle-receiving portion has a second claw portion protruding in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the shafts. As a result of the sliding of the two shafts, the needle-holding portion and the needle-receiving portion become close to each other and a straight needle held by the needle-holding portion can be press-fitted into the needle-receiving portion.

A NASH determination method comprising a method for acquiring free radical consumption speed information by non-invasively detecting a redox reaction in a liver of a test animal in real time, comprises a step (1) of obtaining free radical concentration data by applying a magnetic resonance method to the liver as a measurement target after administering a probe into a body; a step (2) of obtaining imaging information by processing the obtained free radical concentration data; and a step (3) of obtaining a free radical consumption speed by kinetically measuring the imaging information over time, and comprises a step of determining whether or not the test animal has NASH, based on the free radical consumption speed information obtained through application to the test animal.

Two-degree-of-freedom rotation mechanism using parallel springs

A fine work assistance system is configured such that a parallel link mechanism is used for a slave manipulator activated by a master operation, and a precise motion for microsurgery or the like is performed by remote control. In a slave unit of a master-slave manipulator, the parallel link mechanism with multiple degrees of freedom is used for a link mechanism in which an end effector is movable with respect to a base. Moreover, a tip operation part is driving by a hydraulic driving mechanism such that a plurality of linear actuators supported by the base move one ends of links so as to move the end effector, and the slave unit is activated in response to a user operation on the master unit. This achieves the precise motion of the end effector and causes the end effector to perform operations for a precise work.

Manipulator

An operating portion which allows a bending treatment instrument to be inserted into an endoscope channel and bendably operated smoothly through intuition. The operating portion is connected with a device wire and bending wires and used to operate the treatment instrument and bend a freely bendable, bending treatment instrument, where the device wire is connected to a treatment instrument provided at a distal end of the bending treatment instrument and is used to operate the treatment instrument and the plurality of bending wires is used to bend the bending treatment instrument, the operating portion including: an operating portion body; a guide unit penetrated by the device wire; a bending wire pulling unit connected with the bending wires and swingably assembled onto the guide unit; and a grip portion connected with the device wire and configured to be reciprocable in an axial direction of the bending wire pulling unit.

Diagnostic system

A mouth opening instrument includes an upper member suitable for attaching on an upper jaw side within the mouth of a patient and a lower member suitable for attaching on a lower jaw side. The instrument further includes a connecting section, a control section, and an input section. The connecting section connects end portions of the upper member and the lower member such that a resistance of opening or closing actions of the upper member and the lower member are controllable. The control section controls the resistance of opening or closing actions of the upper member and the lower member. The input section receives an operating state signal indicating an operating state of a dental treatment device. When the operating state signal indicating an operating state of a dental treatment device is inputted, the closing resistance of the upper member and the lower member is set to be greater than that at a time when the operating state signal is not inputted.
