A flush toilet of the present invention includes a bowl including a waste receiving surface that receives waste, a rim formed on an upper part of the waste receiving surface and a well portion that is formed below the waste receiving surface and in which a pooled water surface is formed, one or more spouting ports that spout flush water along the rim, and a discharge conduit connected to a bottom portion of the bowl, the flush toilet including a configuration where a forward main flow and a rearward main flow of flush water spouted from the spouting ports circulate around a waste receiving surface of a bowl and flow, in the beginning of flushing start, into three or more regions of the pooled water surface divided into four regions.

A flush toilet of the present invention comprises: a bowl including a waste receiving surface, a rim formed above the waste receiving surface, and a well portion formed below the waste receiving surface and having a pooled water surface formed in the well portion; a first rim spouting port provided in the rim and configured to spout flush water forward; a first water conduit configured to supply flush water to the first rim spouting port; a second rim spouting port provided in the rim and configured to spout flush water rearward; and a second water conduit configured to supply flush water to the second rim spouting port, in which a bottom surface of the second water conduit is configured to be inclined downward along a water spouting direction of the flush water spouted from the second rim spouting port, and such that an extension line of the bottom surface crosses vertical surfaces of the well portion above a maximum ascending water level of the pooled water surface during flushing.

A flush toilet according to the present invention includes a bowl including a well portion, and a discharge trap conduit, the well portion includes a bottom wall formed above and in front of an inlet of the discharge trap conduit, a side wall formed to surround the bottom wall, and a connecting portion that connects an outer edge of the bottom wall and a lower edge of the side wall, the bottom wall of the well portion includes an inclined portion, and guiding portions that are formed on left and right outer sides of the inclined portion and that guide flush water or waste from front toward the inlet of the discharge trap conduit, and the inclined portion, in a side cross-sectional view, is entirely formed into an upwardly convex shape and formed to be inclined downward from front toward the inlet of the discharge trap conduit.

Problem: To provide a flush toilet wherein anomalous sounds can be suppressed from occurring when flush water is spouted from the rim spout port together with air accumulated in the upper portion within the rim conduit, and quietness can be improved. Solution: The flush toilet of the present invention includes: a bowl portionhaving a bowl-shaped waste receiving surfaceand a rim portionformed on a top edge of a waste receiving surface; a rim spout portconfigured to spout flush water from the rim portion onto the bowl portion; a rim conduitdisposed in the rim portion extending from a rear side region of the bowl portion to the rim spout port; and a stirring portionconfigured to agitate flush water which is supplied into the rim conduit

Disclosed is a flush toilet which comprises: a bowl portion having a waste-receiving surface and a rim provided along an upper edge of the waste-receiving surface; a drain trap conduit connected to the bowl portion to drain waste therethrough; a rim spout section including a rim spout port provided in a part of the rim located in a front region of the bowl portion for spouting the flush water, and a rim water-conducting passage provided to conduct flush water to the rim spout port; and a first water-conducting hose for supplying the flush water to the rim water-conducting passage located in the front region of the bowl portion, via beneath the waste-receiving surface, wherein the first water-conducting hose is configured to enable flush water to remain thereinside during stop of supply of the flush water.

A flush toilet has a reservoir tank, a toilet main unit, a water supply apparatus, a water discharge apparatus, and a control device for controlling flushing of the bowl portion of the toilet main unit; wherein this control device includes a time measurement device for measuring the time after the water discharge apparatus has been driven for a predetermined time to discharge flush water, until the water level rises from a dead water level inside the reservoir tank with the water discharge apparatus in an off state to a predetermined stopped water level prior to start of flush; and the driving time of the water discharge apparatus responsive to pressure losses in the toilet main unit is adjusted by comparing the water level rise time measured by the time measurement device with the water level rise time in a standard toilet.

A method, an electrode, a measuring cell, and a measuring device are disclosed which can detect and quantitatively determine an analyte having specific bonding properties, in a highly sensitive, simple and accurate manner using photocurrent. This method comprises contacting a working electrode and a counter electrode with an electrolyte medium, wherein the working electrode has an analyte immobilized thereon through a probe substance and wherein the analyte is bonded to a sensitizing dye; irradiating the working electrode with light to photoexcite the sensitizing dye; and detecting photocurrent flowing between the working electrode and the counter electrode, wherein the photocurrent is generated by transfer of electrons from the photoexcited sensitizing dye to the working electrode. The working electrode comprises an electron accepting layer comprising an electron accepting substance capable of accepting electrons released from the sensitizing dye in response to photoexcitation, wherein the probe substance is supported on a surface of the electron accepting layer. The electron accepting substance is an oxide semiconductor having an energy level lower than that of a lowest unoccupied molecular orbit (LUMO) of the sensitizing dye. The electrolyte medium comprises an electrolyte and at least one solvent selected from an aprotic solvent and a protic solvent, wherein the electrolyte comprises a salt capable of providing an oxidized sensitizing dye with electrons.
