The fuel cell vehicle, includes a fuel cell generating electricity by an electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen; an accessory for the fuel cell; and a fuel cell system box mounted on a vehicle body and housing the fuel cell and the accessory, wherein the fuel cell system box is formed in a vessel shape which has a bottom wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall, the first side wall supporting at least one pipe through which a fluid supplied to the fuel cell flows, and the first side wall is constituted of a material having a specific gravity that is greater than that of the bottom wall and the second wall.

A discharged fuel diluter for a fuel cell includes: a dilution case which defines a dilution space; an offgas introduction pipe which penetrates the dilution case, supplying offgas discharged from the fuel cell in the case; a partitioning member having a rib provided in the dilution case; and a dilution gas pipe which penetrates the dilution case.

A fuel cell vehicle includes a vehicle body having a floor frame; a fuel cell that generates electricity by the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen; and a subframe on which the fuel cell is mounted, being attached to the lower side of the floor frame and has a pair of side frames that extend in the fore-aft direction of the vehicle body, wherein the bottom end of the fuel cell disposed at a position between the upper end and the lower end of the subframe.

A vehicle mounting structure for a fuel cell includes a fuel cell box which accommodates a fuel cell stack inside. The fuel cell box includes a bottom frame on which the fuel cell stack is mounted, a top frame, the bottom frame and the top frame sandwiching the fuel cell stack, a side frame which forms a framework of the fuel cell box and which is connected to the bottom frame and to the top frame, a bottom holddown member which fixes a bottom portion of the fuel cell stack to the bottom frame, and a top holddown member which fixes a top portion of the fuel cell stack to the top frame. Structural members which are required to carry a fuel cell stack are reduced in weight and miniaturized in size while ensuring the desired installation rigidity when the fuel cell stack is carried.

Vehicle mounting structure for fuel cell

A fuel cell vehicle comprises a fuel cell for generating electricity by hydrogen and air, a temperature regulating unit for regulating the temperature of the fuel cell, a fuel supply regulating unit for regulating a supply condition of hydrogen to the fuel cell, a humidification unit for supplying the fuel cell with water, a fuel cell output setting unit for setting whether electric power can be taken out of the fuel cell and an exhaust unit. The temperature regulating unit and the fuel cell output setting unit align in a transverse direction of the vehicle to constitute a first group, whereas the fuel supply regulating unit and the humidification unit align in the transverse direction of the vehicle to constitute a second group, whereby the first group, the fuel cell, the second group and the exhaust unit are disposed in that order from the front to rear of the vehicle.

The thermoregulator, a fuel cell, the humidifier, and the high-pressure hydrogen containersandare disposed covering from the front position to the back position of the vehicle, and arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in this order. Even when there is a collision of vehicles etc., equipment of the fuel cell system, especially a fuel cell is protected from being damaged and also the space of a vehicle compartment or a load room is fully secured, and further, behavior stability etc. is good.

Fuel cell electric vehicle and a fuel cell system box

A charging element device comprising columnar charging element modules arranged by serially connecting cylindrical cells via an insulating ring, the module having a terminal at opposite ends thereof; charging element module groups arranged by laterally aligning the modules in parallel; a built-up construction of the modules arranged by building-up the modules groups in several stages; bus bar plates disposed at the opposite ends of the built-up construction and fitted to the terminals; bus bars disposed outside the bus bar plate and serially connecting the terminals; a housing in which cooling air flows and the built-up construction is contained; and mounting plates having a securing ring for holding and securing the insulating ring, the mounting plate being provided below the lowermost modules group, above the uppermost modules group, and between the intermediate modules groups. The mounting plates are integrally bound so as to hold and secure the insulating ring by the securing ribs, a restriction arrangement for rotation of the insulating ring is provided to the insulating ring and the securing rib.

Rechargeable cell support device with insulating rings

A battery box is detachably supported below a floor panel at a central portion of an electric vehicle. Batteries are mounted in a rear portion of the battery box, and a control unit and a PDU are mounted in a front portion of the battery box. As a result, the positions of the control unit and the PDU are lowered, which can contribute to the lowering of the center of gravity of a vehicle, and power lines extending from the batteries via the control unit and the PDU to a road wheel driving motor can be disposed at shortest distances, whereby the lengths of the power lines can be suppressed to the minimum.

Electric vehicle with battery box arrangement

A cooling structure for an electric vehicle includes a battery box provided with at least one battery, a blower fan supplying air to cool the batteries, a wind box disposed on the battery box and provided with at least one electric component to be cooled. The wind box is formed with an air passage having a substantially U-shape when viewed from the top, on which the electric component is disposed. The wind box includes an air inlet connected to the blower fan and an air outlet communicating with one end of the battery box, so that the air from the blower fan is supplied to the battery box via the wind box.

Cooling structure for electric vehicle

An electric vehicle includes plurality of batteries accommodated in a rear portion of a battery box, and an electric part is accommodated in an electric part accommodating chamber provided in a front portion of the battery box. Cooling air supplied from a cooling fan to the rear portion of the battery box cools the batteries having a large thermal resistance, while being passed through a first cooling air passage around outer peripheries of the batteries at a low flow rate. A second cooling air passage having a smaller sectional area than that of the first cooling air passage is provided below the electric part accommodating chamber, and cooling fins protruding downwards from the electric part are exposed within the second cooling air passage. The second cooling air passage extends continuously the first cooling air passage in a downstream direction of airflow, so that cooling air which has first cooled the batteries then cools the electric part having a smaller thermal resistance, while being passed through the second cooling air passage at a higher flow rate than that in the first cooling air passage.
