A wearing article includes pants having a supporting sheet extending between front and rear waist regions and a body waste absorbing pad formed in its upper surface with a first opening and releasably attached to the inner side of the pants. The supporting sheet is formed with a slit through which a rear zone of the pad can be inserted. The pad is provided on its upper surface with a joined sheet having a second opening. A front zone and an intermediate zone of the pad are placed on the upper surface of the supporting sheet, the rear zone of the pad is inserted into the slit so as to be interposed between the pants and the supporting sheet, free front and rear zones are fastened to the upper surface of the supporting sheet and thereby the pad is attached to the pants by means of the supporting sheet.

A wearing article such as a disposable diaper is provided in predetermined regions of the article with hook members. These predetermined regions are elastically stretchable at least in one direction. Each of the hook members includes a plurality of hook assemblies which are, in turn, attached to each of the predetermined regions so as to be spaced apart one from another in the one direction.

A wearing article absorption of body fluids has an inner sheet, an outer sheet and a body fluid absorbent first panel underlying the inner sheet. The inner sheet and the first panel are formed in central regions thereof with a void to be filled with a hydrophobic second panel which is elastically compressible and liquid-pervious. A plurality of narrow strips, each comprising water-absorbent fibers compressed to a high density, and a hydrophobic and liquid-pervious spacer member underlying the narrow strips are interposed between the second panel and the outer sheet.

Support for attaching an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin to an undergarment and disposed between a sanitary napkin and an inner surface of a crotch region of the undergarment. The support is formed by a first sheet and a second sheet overlying the first sheet. The first sheet is elastically flexible and stretchable in its longitudinal direction and the second sheet has its longitudinally opposite end portions bonded to longitudinally opposite end portions of the first sheet and elastically stretchable at least in the longitudinal direction. The inner surface of the second sheet is formed so that the outer surface of the napkin may be fixed thereon.
