A medical information processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured: to register first relevance information relevant to a first trained model to be newly generated; to calculate, with respect to each of a plurality of second trained models being existing trained models, a similarity degree between second relevance information relevant to the second trained model and the first relevance information; to calculate a data quantity required to generate the first trained model with respect to each of the plurality of second trained models, on the basis of the similarity degrees each corresponding to a different one of the plurality of second trained models; and to output the data quantity required to generate the first trained model with respect to each of the plurality of second trained models.

The object of the present invention is to provide a report generation support apparatus and a report reading apparatus which are able to easily generate a diagnostic report. The report generation support apparatus of the embodiments comprises a display, a specifying part, and a generator. The display configures to display a diagnostic report and a first medical image. The present invention comprises: a data storage unit for storing series image data obtained by medical image acquisition equipment and object data containing image acquisition conditions for the series image data and the specific information for specifying other series image data related to the series image data; an information management unit for generating a thumbnail image that represents combination information of the presently obtained series image data and the past related series image data by referring to the object data; and a display unit for displaying the thumbnail image.

In the medical image interpreting apparatus having a pointing device for moving a cursor, medical image, interpretation report, and cursor are displayed on a display screen, and initial movement information and information on the destination of movement of the cursor are linked and stored, via the pointing device when the cursor begins to move, said initial movement information relevant to the initial movement is retrieved to obtain the linked information on the destination of movement and the cursor is moved to the destination of movement indicated in the obtained information on the destination of movement. Due to this, just by slightly moving the cursor, the cursor jumps to the desired destination of movement, therefore, it becomes possible to omit an operation of the pointing device in between. Due to this, the operation load of the pointing device is reduced, thus preventing an operator's thought in creating an interpretation report from being destructed, and the enhancement in interpreting efficiency and the reduction of interpretation mistakes are achieved.

Medical image interpreting apparatus and cursor-moving method

Enhanced image data is stored, and medical image data contained in the enhanced image data and a screen for creating an interpretation report are displayed on a monitor. In response to a linking operation, link data containing image specification information specifying medical image data to link in the enhanced image data is generated and included into data of the interpretation report. In response to an operation of requesting linked medical image, based on the link data, medical image data indicated by the image specification information within the enhanced image data is specified from the enhanced image data, and the specified medical image data is outputted to a requesting destination of the linked medical image. Thus, a link can be set to medical image data that is one data element within enhanced image data, and only a linked data row can be extracted and read from the enhanced image data.
