The present disclosure relates to transmitting and receiving improved monitoring reports. A base station can configure a user equipment (UE) to monitor a channel/signal on multiple beams. The base station can transmit the multiple beams to the UE, which are at different time periods in a monitoring window. The UE can then monitor the multiple beams within the monitoring window and determine a monitoring report. The UE can then transmit the monitoring report to the base station, wherein the monitoring report indicates a subset of multiple beams as being more or less suitable for communication. The base station can also indicate that it will stop transmitting one or more beams and then stop transmitting the beams. If the UE does not send the report, the base station can continue to transmit the multiple beams.

Dynamic search space configuration

A first apparatus may determine a first schedule associated with the one or more repetitions of the control information on the control channel based on the first information. The first apparatus may receive, from the network, at least one of the one or more repetitions of the control information on the control channel based on the first schedule, wherein the control information indicates a second schedule associated with a random access response (RAR) on a data channel. The first apparatus may receive, from the network, the RAR on the data channel based on the second schedule.

System and method for repetition of scheduling information on a control channel

In some aspects, a device may receive sensor data associated with a vehicle and a set of frames. The device may aggregate, using a first pose, the sensor data associated with the set of frames to generate an aggregated frame, wherein the aggregated frame is associated with a set of cells. The device may obtain an indication of a respective occupancy label for each cell from the set of cells, wherein the respective occupancy label includes a first occupancy label or a second occupancy label, and wherein a subset of cells from the set of cells are associated with the first occupancy label. The device may train, using data associated with the aggregated frame, a machine learning model to generate an occupancy grid, based on a loss function that only calculates a loss for respective cells from the subset of cells. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Communications by wireless devices may be modified when beam pair links (BPLs) experience decreased link quality. For example, a controlling wireless device may communicate with a secondary wireless device using a set of BPLs. The controlling and secondary wireless device may each cycle through the set of BPLs at respective times of a communication time period. Upon detecting one or more BPLs having a decreased link quality during a portion of the communication time period, the controlling wireless device may transmit a configuration modifying the communications. For instance, the modified communications may include replacing the one or more BPLs with different BPLs having a relatively higher link quality. In other cases, the modified communications may include using repeated transmissions during the portion of the communication time period or excluding the BPLs experiencing decreased link quality from the communication time period.

Adaptation of predetermined beam switching

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify time and frequency resources for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) in a first transmission time interval (TTI). The base station may transmit configuration information for a control channel search space set in a second TTI. The second TTI may precede the first TTI. The configuration information may include an indication of an absence of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission to send in the control channel search space set indicating the identified time and frequency resources for the PDSCH, and a set of time and frequency resources for the control channel search space set. The UE may receive the configuration information and identify the time and frequency resources allocated for the PDSCH in the second TTI, and receive the PDSCH transmission in the second TTI.

Aspects described herein relate to receiving multiple synchronization signal block (SSB) signals from a base station, wherein the multiple SSB signals are each beamformed based on a different directional beam, selecting a signature from a signature space of a first SSB of the multiple SSB signals, and transmitting, based on the signature, a random access message to the base station, wherein the random access message includes an indicator of a preferred SSB of the multiple SSB signals.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, via a first carrier, an indication of an offset for scheduling a reference signal on a second carrier, wherein the offset indicates a duration between downlink control information (DCI), that schedules the reference signal, and the reference signal; determine a first numerology of the first carrier and a second numerology of the second carrier; and determine a time offset for the reference signal based at least in part on the offset and at least one of the first numerology, the second numerology, or both the first numerology and the second numerology. Cross-carrier reference signal scheduling offset and threshold determination

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support uplink reporting techniques for multi transmission-reception point (TRP) transmissions. Various reporting configurations may be provided that allow for user equipment (UE) communications via multiple concurrent wireless connections with multiple TRPs. A UE may identify a reporting configuration and transmit a report (e.g., a buffer status report (BSR) or a power headroom report (PHR)) to one or more of the TRPs based on the identified reporting configuration. The multiple TRPs may have non-ideal backhaul connections and the reporting configuration may allow the UE to transmit separate reports to different TRPs. The different TRPs may then use the separate reports for corresponding communications with the UE. In cases where shared radio frequency spectrum is used for communications, a single channel access priority class (CAPC) for multiple TRPs may be determined for a contention-based channel access procedure.

Uplink reporting techniques for multi transmission-reception point transmissions

Aspects described herein relate to configuring, at a device, default beam information for determining a beam for data channel communications. The device can determine to use the default beam information for configuring the beam for a data channel communication based on determining explicit beam information is not configured. In addition, the device can transmit, based on determining to use the default beam information, the data channel communication based on the beam configured using the default beam information.

Techniques for determining beams for beamforming wireless communications

Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to quasi co-location assumptions for aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reference signals (RS) in communications systems operating according to NR techniques. An exemplary method that may be performed by a UE includes determining a quasi-co-location (QCL) relationship of an aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reference signal (CSI-RS) to a physical channel and processing the aperiodic CST-RS according to the determined QCL relationship.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a list of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state patterns where each entry in the list may correspond to a different TCI state pattern. The base station may transmit an indication of a selected entry from the TCI state pattern list and transmit a grant to the UE indicating that resources have been allocated in for transmitting a transport block (TB). The UE may receive the grant and attempt to receive the TB in accordance with the indicated TCI state pattern. The UE may generate multi-bit feedback to indicate whether the UE was able to successfully decode the TB and transmit the feedback to the base station. The base station may use the multi-bit feedback for determining whether to select a different TCI state pattern.

Transmission configuration indicator pattern list for shared channel transmission

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Wireless communications systems may support uplink random access channel (RACH) transmissions on multiple beams and over multiple component carriers (CCs). A wireless device may transmit a random access preamble to a base station in a first RACH transmission, which may indicate a set of CCs over which the base station may respond with a random access response (RAR) in a second RACH transmission. The second RACH transmission may then include an indication for which CCs the wireless device may use for a subsequent RACH transmission (e.g., a RACH message 3). The wireless device may also indicate a beam index and/or time-frequency resources associated with beams and/or CCs used for such cell acquisition transmissions. In other examples, the base station may indicate resources (e.g., via a handover command or RACH command) for wireless device scheduling request and/or beam-failure recovery request transmission.

Random access channel procedures with multiple carriers

Disclosed are techniques for transmit/receive (TX/RX) beam association in millimeter wave (mmW) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. In conventional wireless systems, a node (e.g., gNB) that manages wireless resources is typically stationary. This means that transmissions from the network node over the same TX beam using the same antenna array orientation can be assumed to be quasi-collocated (QCLed) and communications may be established using fixed-to-mobile beam management approach. However, if the transmitting node is mobile, a quasi-collocation (QCL) assumption may not be valid. To address issues due to mobility of the nodes that manage wireless resources, a mobile-to-mobile beam management approach is proposed.

Transmit/receive beam association in millimeter wave V2X

In multi-beam communication, the UE may assist in the scheduling of beams utilized during the multi-beam communication by improving the manner in which the quality of the beam is reported to the network. The apparatus may measure a signal received from a base station on at least one beam. The apparatus may detect a triggering event for providing CSI for the at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an uplink transmission comprising a CSI report in response to detecting the triggering event. The apparatus may receive an uplink request from a UE for providing CSI for at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an indication scheduling a CSI report in response to the uplink request. The apparatus may receive an uplink transmission from the UE comprising the CSI report for the at least one beam.

A device for processing image data is disclosed. The device can obtain a radar point cloud and one or more frames of camera data. The device can determine depth estimates of one or more pixels of the one or more frames of camera data. The device can generate a pseudo lidar point cloud using the depth estimates of the one or more pixels of the one or more frames of camera data, wherein the pseudo lidar point cloud comprises a three-dimensional representation of at least one frame of the one or more frames of camera data. The device can determine one or more object bounding boxes based on the radar point cloud and the pseudo lidar point cloud.
