Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for timing alignment in integrated access and backhaul. A method includes receiving, at an integrated access and backhaul ('IAB') node of a wireless communication network, a first configuration for receiving a downlink reference signal and a second configuration for receiving an uplink reference signal. The method includes determining timing alignment information associated with the downlink reference signal and the uplink reference signal. The method includes determining, based on the timing alignment information, a timing misalignment value. The method includes computing a second reception time based on a first reception time and the timing misalignment value, the first reception time determined based on the downlink reference signal. The method includes applying the second reception time to the TAB node for receiving the uplink reference signal.

Timing alignment in integrated access and backhaul

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for power control using at least one power control parameter. One method () includes receiving (), at a first device, configuration information comprising a power offset value associated with a first plurality of resources and a first reference signal. One method includes receiving a first configuration including information of a first reference signal ('RS'). The method includes transmitting the first RS while applying a first spatial filter. The method includes determining whether the first spatial filter is to be used for transmitting a signal to a second wireless node. The method includes receiving a first control message from a third wireless node. The method includes determining, based on the first control message, whether the first spatial filter causes an interference on the third wireless node. The method includes, based on determining that the first spatial filter does not cause the interference on the third wireless node, transmitting the signal to the second wireless node.

The first configuration includes a first parameter indicating a time-domain attribute associated with the resource, and the time-domain attribute is hard, soft, and/or unavailable. The second configuration includes a second parameter indicating a frequency-domain attribute associated with the resource, and the frequency-domain attribute is hard, soft, and/or unavailable. The method includes determining an attribute for the resource based on the time-domain attribute and the frequency-domain attribute. The attribute is hard, soft, and/or unavailable. The method includes, in response to determining that the attribute is soft: determining whether the resource is indicated as available; and performing an operation on the resource.

Resource attribute configuration

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for integrated access and backhaul node configuration. One method includes receiving, at a first integrated access and backhaul node, a resource configuration corresponding to a second integrated access and backhaul node, wherein the resource configuration comprises information indicating soft resources. The method includes obtaining an activation parameter corresponding to the second integrated access and backhaul node, wherein the activation parameter comprises a first value, a second value, or a combination thereof. The method includes determining whether the activation parameter comprises the first value. The method includes transmitting an availability indication message corresponding to a subset of the soft resources in response to determining that the activation parameter comprises the first value.

Integrated access and backhaul node configuration

The UE also receives second control signaling indicating a first configuration identifying a first reference signal occasion. The UE determines a temporal range of an expected reference signal time difference duration based in part on the position information and the first configuration, and receives a reference signal during the temporal range of the expected reference signal time difference duration.

Positioning in a non-terrestrial network

Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a UE that receives a group RRC release message that is based on a group mobility configuration, the group RRC release message intended for communication to a group of multiple UEs. The UE can switch to a RRC inactive state based in part on a determination that a RRC connection suspend configuration directed to the UE is included in the group RRC release message. The UE can switch to a RRC idle state based in part on a determination that the RRC connection suspend configuration is not included in the group RRC release message. A network entity can generate the group RRC release message with the group mobility configuration, and the group RRC release message is intended for communication to the group of multiple UEs. The network entity can then transmit the group RRC release message to the group of multiple UEs.

Group-based connection release

Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a UE that receives, from a location server of a non-terrestrial network, first control signaling indicating a first PRS configuration that includes positioning assistance data and measurement reporting configuration. The UE also receives second control signaling indicating a second PRS configuration that indicates adapted PRS information based at least in part on mobility, an interference level, and/or a propagation delay pattern. The UE also receives third control signaling indicating a third PRS configuration that includes a duration for reporting a measurement of reference signals based at least in part on the adapted PRS information. The UE transmits, to the location server of the NTN, a report indicating the measurement of the reference signals and/or a location estimate based at least in part on the duration for the reporting.

Configuration and reporting in a non-terrestrial network

According to embodiments, a first UE receives from a base station a configuration indicator. The configuration indicator indicates to the first UE for the first UE to measure quality of a sidelink connection from a second UE on resources of a resource pool in a wireless network. The first UE transmits a feedback report to the base station. The feedback report includes an identification of the second UE in the wireless network and a measurement result of the sidelink connection from the second UE.

Protection for mode-3 V2X UEs in the ITS band

Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a location server that transmits a control signaling request to a NTS in a non-terrestrial network, the control signaling requesting an entity type of the NTS, and ephemeris data associated with the NTS. The location server may transmit a control signaling request to a non-terrestrial network configuration entity in the non-terrestrial network, the control signaling requesting an identifier of the NTS, an entity type of the non-terrestrial network configuration entity, and/or a number of non-terrestrial network nodes communicatively connected to the non-terrestrial network configuration entity. The location server receives a control signaling response from the NTS and/or the non-terrestrial network configuration entity, the control signaling response indicating configuration parameter values. The location server then configures positioning assistance data for positioning a UE based in part on the configuration parameter values received in the control signaling response.

Positioning capability data exchange in a non-terrestrial network

Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a UE that receives a first configuration associated with a set of positioning reference signals, where the first configuration indicates a time and frequency resource for a positioning reference signal of the set of positioning reference signals. The UE also receives a second configuration that associates a positioning measurement of the positioning reference signal on the time and frequency resource, and receives one or more types of polarization associated with the first configuration and/or the second configuration. The UE also transmits a report indicating the one or more types of polarization associated with the positioning measurement of the positioning reference signal on the time and frequency resource.

Signal isolation using polarization in a non-terrestrial network

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for configuring information for location determination. One method includes transmitting, from a location server, a request including an indication to provide beam configuration information and associated received signal strength measurements of a target user equipment. The method includes receiving a response message including the beam configuration information and associated received signal strength measurements. The method includes determining the location of the target UE based on a mapping between the beam configuration information and the associated received signal strength measurements.
