A locking device for a vehicle seat is disclosed. The locking device comprises at least one tolerance compensating element and a second damping element provided for damping the movement of a bolt element received in the locking device. The elements are spaced apart from one another in the direction of the action of force effected by the bolt element, such that under normal conditions the tolerance compensating element acts in a damping manner and the second damping element additionally provides a damping action under the action of high dynamic force.

A recliner heart operably connects the seat base with the first and second support members. A shear center of the first and second support members extends along an inside corner connection of the central web and the rear wall of the first and second support members and into the seat base.

A vehicle seat suspension assembly includes a rear support for engagement with a torsion tube of a vehicle seat. First and second spring members have end portions engaged with the rear support. Intermediate cushion pan connectors are disposed on each of the first and second spring members. A cross support is coupled with the first and second spring members and includes power and data wiring apertures.

A recliner bracket for a vehicle includes a web defining a recliner heart receiving aperture. The recliner heart receiving apertures is operably connected with side supports of a seating assembly and include forward and rearward seat support connection tabs. The space defined between the first side portion and the support is greater than the thickness of the web. The space defined between the second side portion and the support is less than the thickness of the web, such that the key may be inserted into the key slot and laterally translated until the web is frictionally secured between the second side portion and the support.
