A communication apparatus communicates with another communication apparatus. The communication apparatus includes a first communication unit configured to receive serial data from a first communication apparatus that is serially connected to the communication apparatus; a modulation unit configured to modulate the serial data received by the first communication unit into data other than the serial data to generate transmission data; and a second communication unit configured to perform first unicast transmission which involves transmitting the transmission data by designating a second communication apparatus as a transmission destination and second unicast transmission which involves transmitting the transmission data by designating a third communication apparatus as a transmission destination.

Communication apparatus, communication method and integrated circuit

A simulator operable to simulate behaviors of a processor using software is provided. The simulator includes a command input unit, a memory element, a register element, a control element, a resource information storage unit, and a resource access-analyzing unit. The command input unit is operable to analyze/process entered commands. The memory element is operable to store executive instructions issued by the processor and data treated by the processor. The register element is operable to contain data for use in calculation. The control element is operable to access the memory element and register element in accordance with the executive instructions. The resource information storage unit is operable to contain specified resource information and a piece of read/write information for each piece of the resource information. The resource access-analyzing unit is operable to compare access destinations (the memory element and register element to be accessed by the control element) and a read/write classification with the resource information and read/write information contained in the resource information storage unit, thereby practicing a resource access analysis as to whether or not the access destinations are allowed by the resource information and read/write information.

Simulator and simulation method for behaviors of processors

Portable terminal equipment includes an upper chassis, a lower chassis, a connector therebetween, a camera holder, and a camera. The upper chassis includes the first obverse side and the first reverse side. The lower chassis includes the second obverse side and the second reverse side. The connector is operable to collapsibly interconnect the upper and lower chassis. The camera holder is slidable outward and inward with respect to either the upper chassis or the lower chassis. The camera is disposed on the camera holder in a relationship coextensive with the first obverse side. When the upper and lower chassis are opened up, then images taken by the camera are displayed on a first display. When the upper and lower chassis are folded up, then images taken by the camera are displayed on a second display. Thus the thinned portable terminal equipment including the single camera is operable to photograph both a user and any other subject.
