A planetary gear device includes: a sun gear having external teeth; a plurality of planet gears having external teeth and meshed with the sun gear; a ring gear having internal teeth and meshed with the planet gears; and a baffle unit disposed between the planet gears adjacent to each other and configured to collect lubricant oil into a collection chamber. The baffle unit includes: a discharge outlet to discharge a portion of the lubricant oil collected in the collection chamber in an axial direction; and a ring gear oil supply hole to discharge another portion of the lubricant oil in a radially outward direction and supplied to the ring gear, and a weir member separable from the baffle unit and configured to cover a portion of the discharge outlet to reserve the lubricant oil to be discharged through the ring gear oil supply hole.

Planetary gear device

A planetary gear system () includes: a sun gear () having external teeth; a plurality of planet gears () having external teeth, each planet gear meshing with the sun gear; a ring gear () having internal teeth, the ring gear meshing with the planet gears; and a baffle unit () disposed between the planet gears which are adjacent to each other, the baffle unit having side faces (F,R) positioned near the respective planet gears. The baffle unit () has: oil supply holes () which are formed in a tip portion () facing an outer periphery of the sun gear () and which jet out lubricating oil (OL) to mesh positions () between the sun gear and the planet gears; and a collection opening () which is formed in at least one of the side faces and through which the lubricating oil (OL) that has been jetted out is collected into the baffle unit ().

Planetary gear system

A planetary gear system () includes: a sun gear () having external teeth; a ring gear () having internal teeth; at least one planet gear () having external teeth meshed with the external teeth of the sun gear and the internal teeth of the ring gear. The planet gear () has, at its outer circumferential face, the external teeth which are formed of a pair of sets of teeth aligned in an axial direction and an annular groove () which is formed between the pair of sets of teeth. The planetary gear system () further includes: a fixed support shaft () provided for each of the at least one planet gear () and configured to rotatably support the planet gear () via a bearing, the bearing including a pair of rolling element rows () aligned in the axial direction; an oil supply path (LP) through which lubricating oil is supplied, at an inner side of the planet gear (), to the pair of rolling element rows (); and an oil discharge path (oil outlet) which extends through the planet gear () and through which the lubricating oil is discharged to the annular groove () from space between the pair of rolling element rows () which are provided at the inner side of the planet gear ().
