In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computing device and computer readable media to receive a temperature, operating speed, maximum operating speed, and utilization rate of a processor. A processor performance metric may be calculated based on the operating speed, maximum operating speed, and utilization rate. The processor performance metric and temperature may be used to retrieve a value in a thermal mapping. The value in the thermal mapping may be compared against a threshold to determine if a processor thermal metric event has occurred. An indication to the user may be presented in the event of a thermal metric event.

In some examples, an electronic device comprises a battery; a storage device storing a user profile, the user profile comprising a usage pattern of the battery; and a processor coupled to the battery and the storage device, the processor to: receive a battery measurement of the battery and operational data of a first component of the electronic device; calculate a battery consumption of the first component based on the battery measurement; compare the battery consumption to the usage pattern; update, based on the comparison, the user profile using a time series model, wherein inputs to the time series model include the battery measurement and the operational data; and adjust a battery consumption of the electronic device based on the updated user profile.

Methods, systems, and computer-readable media (transitory or non-transitory) are described herein for automatic backup and replacement of a storage device. According to an example, a storage failure for given storage device may be predicted. A backup process of the give storage device to a remote system may be initiated based on predicting the storage failure for the given storage device. The backup process may create a one-to-one image backup or a user data backup based on a predicted amount of time until the storage failure of the given storage device. A restore process of a new storage device at the remote system may be initiated upon completion of the backup process. The restore process may depend on the backup created during the backup process and/or various types of new storage devices that are available. The new storage device may be based on the given storage device.

An example of an apparatus including a communication interface to receive telemetry data from a client device. The telemetry data includes a resource capacity and a usage level. The apparatus further includes a grading engine to generate a scoring map. The apparatus also includes a diagnostic engine in communication with the communication interface and the grading engine. The diagnostic engine is to generate a score based on an application of the scoring map on the telemetry data. The apparatus also includes an upgrade engine to implement an upgrade at the client device based on the score.
