An aircraft cabin door system has a cabin door having an outer side and an inner side, a drive device coupled to the cabin door for moving the cabin door into an open position, a first actuation device, a second actuation device, and an emergency chute unit coupled to the cabin door and having an emergency chute and an actuation mechanism. The emergency chute unit can be moved into an active state, in which opening the cabin door leads to activation of the emergency chute, and an inactive state, in which opening the cabin door does not lead to activation of the emergency chute. The emergency chute unit is in the inactive state when the cabin door is opened after actuation of the first actuation device. The emergency chute unit is in the active state when the cabin door is opened after actuation of the second actuation device.

A flight deck door assembly for an aircraft includes a flight deck bulkhead defining an access opening from a passenger deck area to a flight deck area of the aircraft, a lavatory bulkhead spaced apart from the flight deck bulkhead and defining a lavatory monument, a first lock containment arranged in a first portion of the flight deck bulkhead opposite to a door jamb formed by a second portion of the flight deck bulkhead, a second lock containment arranged in the lavatory bulkhead, and a flight deck door having a door blade hingedly coupled to the door jamb. The flight deck door is configured to latch to the first lock containment in a first closing position and to latch to the second lock containment in a second closing position.

An actuation device for opening an emergency exit flap of a cockpit door is provided. The actuation device comprises a support structure, at least two securing elements, an actuation element and a deflection mechanism. The support structure is configured so as to be fastened to the emergency exit flap. The securing elements are integrated into the support structure and are configured so as to fasten the actuation device, and thus the emergency exit flap, to the cockpit door. The actuation element is connected to the support structure. Therein, the deflection mechanism connects the securing elements to the actuation element in such a way that a force which is exerted on the actuation element is diverted in such a way that the securing elements are released from the cockpit door.

A surveillance device and method provide access to a surveillance system for keeping a cabin of an aircraft under surveillance. A computer program may be used to execute the method for accessing the surveillance system. The surveillance device includes an authentication unit for examining an access-authorization request for access to the surveillance system, and a control unit for selecting, on the basis of the access-authorization request, a display unit from a plurality of display units provided in the aircraft, and for relaying a video-image signal corresponding to a captured video image of a subarea of the cabin of the aircraft to the selected display unit for the purpose of displaying the video image.

A door assembly for a vehicle with two door leaves is stated. In each case the door leaves can be opened in such a manner that the maximum angle of opening between them can be limited. After a door leaf has been opened, the door leaves can thus only be pivoted together so that opening the first door leaf results in closing the second door leaf. As a result of this, access to a space in a vehicle may be controlled.
