A warning method for a high-voltage battery of a motor vehicle, with which, in the case of an accident of the motor vehicle, emergency responders can be provided details on the state of the high-voltage battery of the motor vehicle after the accident. This warning method includes at least one state diagnosis relating to at least one component of the high-voltage battery is created on the basis of supplied sensor data by means of an analysis unit, as soon as the accident of the motor vehicle has been detected. In addition, a total state diagnosis of the high-voltage battery based on this at least one state diagnosis is created. The at least one state diagnosis is transmitted via a corresponding communications unit to a vehicle-external monitoring unit, and the total state diagnosis of the high-voltage battery is transmitted via this communications unit to an emergency call dispatcher.

Disclosed is a method for detection of a pressure loss in motor vehicle tires, which detects pressure loss on at least one vehicle tire based on several parameters, which are calculated from the rolling circumference of the tires. To this end, currently calculated parameters are compared with learnt values of the parameters.

The method includes: learning test variables (DIAG, SIDE, AXLE), which describe the rotational movements of the wheels; determining rolling circumference differences (&#x394;DIAG, &#x394;SIDE, &#x394;AXLE) from actually determined test variables and the learnt test variables; learning at least one torsion natural frequency ffor at least one tire from the oscillation behavior of the individual tires; determining at least one shift of the torsion natural frequency &#x394;ffrom at least one actually determined torsion natural frequency and from the at least one learnt torsion natural frequency; and combining the rolling circumference differences (&#x394;DIAG, &#x394;SIDE, &#x394;AXLE) with the at least one shift of the torsion natural frequency fin a joint warning strategy for detecting and warning of tire inflation pressure loss.
