A filler panel for an electronics shelf is provided. The electronics shelf includes a number of slots each configured to receive an electronic device. The filler panel includes a non-conductive main body that includes a front wall, a side wall, and a back wall. The front wall and back wall are configured to fill a width of a slot of the electronics shelf and the side wall is configured to extend into a depth of the slot. The filler panel also includes an electromagnetic shielding portion made of a conductive material and coupled to the main body. Furthermore, the main body includes one or more cable clips each configured to retain one or more cables within the main body.

A filler panel for blocking an unused portion of a communications system. That filler panel may include an electromagnetic shielding base and a base cover removably coupled to the electromagnetic shielding base. The filler panel may also include an air dam composed substantially of low-cost, nonconductive material coupled to either the electromagnetic shielding base or to the base cover through the electromagnetic shielding base.

A filler panel for an electronics shelf is provided. The electronics shelf includes a plurality of slots each configured to receive an electronic device. The filler panel includes a non-conductive main body that includes a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and a single side wall. The front wall, back wall, top wall and bottom wall are configured to fill a width of a slot of the electronics shelf. The side wall is configured to extend into a depth of the slot, The filler panel also includes an electromagnetic shielding portion comprising a conductive material that is coupled to the main body. The main body further includes one or more vents positioned in each of the top wall and the bottom wall, the vents configured to allow air flow though the main body.

An input/output panel for use with a server chassis may comprise a cover, an input/output interface circuit board, a plurality of interfaces, and a ground clip. The cover of non-conductive plastic may be configured to mount to a rear cover of the server chassis. The input/output interface circuit board may be disposed on a first side of the cover. The plurality of interfaces may be disposed on the input/output interface circuit board and extend at least partially through the cover to the second side of the cover. The ground clip may include a conductive component partially disposed within the plastic cover. A first end of the ground clip may extend from the first side of the cover and be configured to mate with the input/output interface circuit board. A second end of the ground clip may extend from the first side of cover and be configured to mate with a ground circuit associated with the rear cover of the server chassis.

A latch for use with a plug-in unit may comprise a head, a rigid body, a pin, and a lever. The head may be configured to retain the plug-in unit within a chassis associated with a rack system. The rigid body may extend from the head and be configured to interface with a user's fingers. The pin may extend transversely from both sides of the head into a case associated with the plug-in unit and be configured so that the head and the rigid body rotate around the pin as a single body when the rigid body is pulled by the user's fingers. The lever may extend from the rigid body and include a detent configured to engage the chassis. The detent may be configured to restrict the head and the rigid body from rotating around the pin when the detent is engaged with the chassis. The lever may be operable to release the detent from the chassis. The head, the rigid body, the lever, and the detent are manufactured as a single unitary body.

Unibody latch for plug-in units

A back-wiring board that connects to a main circuit board of a power distribution system. The back-wiring board includes a plurality of connectors configured to mechanically secure to a plurality of bus bars. The connectors of the back-wiring board are further configured to receive a voltage signal from the plurality of bus bars and to transmit the voltage signal to the back-wiring board. The back-wiring board also includes a plurality of wire-wrap pins integrated into a surface of the back-wiring board, wherein the wire-wrap pins are configured to receive data input signals. The back-wiring board includes a right-angle connector configured to couple the back-wiring board to the main circuit board.

The extendable enclosure for circuit cards comprises a first enclosure comprising a backplane, a plurality of circuit card connectors, the backplane providing electrical connectivity among the plurality of circuit card connectors, a midplane connector mounted to the backplane, the midplane connector providing electrical connectivity to the backplane, and a backplane connector mounted to an edge of the backplane and providing electrical connectivity to the backplane and a second enclosure comprising a backplane, a plurality of circuit card connectors mounted to a face of the backplane, the backplane providing electrical connectivity among the plurality of circuit card connectors, and a backplane extension connector mounted to an edge of the backplane and providing electrical connectivity to the backplane, wherein the backplane extension connector is operable to plug into the backplane connector of the first component enclosure.
