A method for monitoring an aircraft cargo bay using an aircraft interface device may comprise receiving image data of a cargo bay of an aircraft. The method may further comprise detecting movement in the cargo bay, directing a camera to activate in response to that movement, and processing the captured image data. The aircraft interface device may include pre-trained neural network based algorithms configured for event classification. The method may further comprise generating an alarm based on a theft event classification and transmitting the alarm to an aircraft.

Systems and methods for identifying damage and theft in an aircraft cargo bay

A windshield wiper system for use on an aircraft includes a controller and a wiper assembly including a wiper arm, a wiper blade, and a moving block. Further, the windshield wiper system includes a rail assembly including a rail assembly rack, a plurality of electromagnets, and an electrical interface. The electrical interface and the plurality of electromagnets induce a force on the moving block of the wiper assembly, causing the wiper assembly to sweep across the windshield of the aircraft. The controller is coupled to the rail assembly and the controller is configured to direct the motion of the wiper assembly through command signals to the rail assembly.

A component inspection system for monitoring and detecting damage to components of a cargo handling system may comprise a first camera configured to monitor a first detection zone, and an inspection controller configured to analyze image data output by the first camera. The inspection system controller may be configured to identify a component of the cargo handling system in the image data received from the first camera and determine a state of the component. The state of the component may be at least one of a normal state or a damaged state.

Systems and methods of monitoring cargo load systems for damage detection

Provided are embodiments for a method for monitoring a wiper system, the method includes reading a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag embedded in a wiper blade using a reader, comparing the read RFID tag to stored wiper blade information, determining a blade usage ratio for the wiper blade based on determining whether the wiper blade has been replaced, and providing an indication of a status of the wiper blade based at least in part on the blade usage ratio. Also provided are embodiments for a system for monitoring the health of the wiper system.
