The invention relates generally to nail strips that may be adhered to human finger and toe nails. The strips are provided in the form of a sheet having a plurality of cutout strips in the general shape of a nail which may be peeled from the sheet. The nail strips may be decorated by printing user-created or selected designs using a home printer. The size and/or shape of the nail strips may be adjusted by selecting and detaching an appropriate perforated edge from the sheet backing.

Printable nail strips

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition particularly useful for the application of color such as in a foundation, lip gloss, lip stick, mascara, eye shadow, blush, and nail polish, for example. A cosmetic composition according to the present invention includes a film-forming silicone-containing polyurethane having a viscosity from about 130,000 to about 2,500,000 cps, preferable from about 400,000 to about 2,500,000 cps and most preferably from about 750,000 to about 2,500,000.

Long-wearing cosmetic composition

There is provided a nail enamel strip having a substrate layer and a nail enamel film with one or more nail enamel layers, at least one of the nail enamel layers having a cross-linked polymer. The nail enamel film is detachably adhered to the substrate layer. Further, there is provided a method for making the nail enamel strips, and a method of applying the nail enamel strip on a nail.

Nail strips having a crosslinked polymer top coat

Cosmetic compositions comprising high molecular weight polyurethane polymers are disclosed. The polyurethane polymers typically will have a molecular weight greater than about 50,000. The cosmetic compositions provide cosmetic films on the lips which are comfortable, long-wearing, transfer-resistant, and have a shiny finish.

Long wearing cosmetic compositions

Cosmetic compositions and methods with improved transfer resistance and long wear properties are disclosed. The cosmetic compositions contain a synergistic combination of at least one silicone polyurethane polymer and at least one elastomer.

Cosmetic compositions having improved transfer resistance

There is provided a moisturizing cosmetic stick that moisturizes, has good wear, and full and even coverage. The stick comprises: about 1% to about 35% by weight water, about 0.1% to about 8% by weight of a gelling agent, about 1% to about 5% by weight of an emulsifier, about 5% to about 10% by weight of a hard wax, about 5% to about 25% by weight of a lipophilic polar solvent, about 1% to about 5% by weight of a clay, and about 5% to about 30% by weight of a bulking agent. The present invention is also directed to a process for making such a moisturizing stick.

Cosmetic stick

There is provided a cosmetic composition, preferably in the form of a lip gloss composition, that is smooth, glossy, and wear resistant. The composition has an oil or liquid ester and a gel, and optionally, one or more waxes, one or more pigments, and one or more emollients.

Wear resistant cosmetic compositions

A lip treatment containing a bioyeast ingredient, such as a live yeast cell derivative, and a suitable carrier. The live yeast cell derivative is produced by lysing and concentrating the cell contents of yeast cells subjected to an extended period of non-lethal stress such as is induced by exposure to certain wavelengths of ultraviolet light. The lip treatment rapidly moisturizes, smoothes, and heals the lips, and provides for rapid exfoliation of chapped cells on the lips. Thus, the treated lips are restored to a soft and supple condition.
