A method of controlling a set of devices (and) is proposed. The method is performed by a voice-controlled device (). In response to receiving (S) a first voice command of a user comprising a first reference to at least one device of the set of devices and a control command to be performed on the at least one device of the set of devices, the voice-controlled device presents (S) an identifier in association with each of the at least one device of the set of devices. In response to receiving (S) a second voice command from the user comprising a second reference to one or more of the identifiers, the voice-controlled device controls (S) one or more of the at least one device of the set of devices which can be identified based on the second reference comprised in the second voice command to execute the control command comprised in the first voice command.

Controlling a set of devices by a voice-controlled device

A method performed by a first node for adjusting channel coefficients of a wireless channel between the first node and a second node in a wireless communications network is provided. The first node obtains a calculated current correlation value between the first channel coefficients estimated in a first time instant, and the second channel coefficients estimated in a second time instant. The second time instant is subsequent to the first time instant. The first node obtains a previous correlation value calculated at a previous time instant. The first node determines a phase adjustment value based on an estimated phase difference to be applied to the estimated second channel coefficients associated with the wireless channel. The phase difference is estimated between the current correlation value and the previous correlation value.

Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a radio unit () for controlling power levels of spatially separated transceivers (-) connected to the radio unit () via corresponding antenna ports (a-j). Each transceiver (-) is capable of performing measurements on uplink transmissions from wireless devices in a wireless communication network (). The radio unit () receives, from each transceiver (-), measurements on uplink transmissions from wireless devices. Then, the radio unit () determines, for each transceiver (-), a load based on how many wireless devices that have the transceiver as the transceiver with the most relevant measurement for its uplink transmissions. The radio unit () also controls a power level of at least one first transceiver () based on at least one of the determined loads for the transceivers (-). A network node and a method for transmitting a Transmission Configuration Indication, TCI, update to a UE. The network node associates a first transmit beam with a first reference signal having first Quasi Co-Location, QCL, channel properties. The first transmit beam gives the same first QCL channel properties and is used in data transmission to the UE. Further, the network node determines second QCL channel properties given by a second transmit beam when a beam change is triggered. When the second QCL channel properties is within a QCL channel property range of a second reference signal and when the second reference signal has third QCL channel properties being different from the first QCL channel properties, the network node associates the second transmit beam with the second reference signal, and transmits, to the UE, a TCI update having an indication of the second reference signal.

There is provided mechanisms for beam management. A method is performed by a radio transceiver device. The method comprises obtaining an angle spread value for signal paths towards a second radio transceiver device. The method comprises performing a beam management procedure for selecting which directional beam to use for communication with the second radio transceiver device by transmitting or receiving reference signals in a candidate set of directional beams. Which directional beams to include in the candidate set of directional beams is dependent on the angle spread value by the angle spread value determining sparsity of the directional beams in the candidate set of directional beams.

Mechanisms for selecting beam direction for a radio communications device are provided. A method is performed by the radio communications device. The method includes obtaining radio channel estimates of a radio channel on which radio waves have been transmitted between the radio communications device and another radio communications device at an angle of arrival and departure. The method includes determining a Doppler shift from the radio channel estimates. The method includes estimating at least one of the angle of arrival and departure of the radio waves based on the Doppler shift. The method includes selecting a beam direction for a signal to be transmitted between the radio communications device and this another radio communications device over the radio channel according to the estimated angle of arrival or departure.

A method performed by a first radio node for selecting a transmission rank is provided. The radio node is capable of using at least a first antenna beam and a second antenna beam for communication with a second radio node in a wireless communication network. The radio node communicates with the second radio node by using the first antenna beam and a first transmission rank. The radio node obtains second radio parameters for the second antenna beam. The radio node then selects a second transmission rank based on the obtained second radio parameters. The second transmission rank is to be used for communication with the second radio node in the second beam. There is provided mechanisms for assigning beams to terminal devices in a communications network. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises determining an initial set of beams for serving the terminal devices, whereby each terminal device is assigned at least one of the beams. The method comprises obtaining an indication that further beams, in addition to those in the initial set of beams, are available for serving the terminal devices. The method comprises evaluating whether to expand the initial set of beams with the further beams or not, whereby the further beams are assigned to the terminal devices according to a criterion, until a resource utilization threshold is reached.

Mechanisms for determining directional beamforming weights are disclosed. A method performed by a radio transceiver device includes obtaining, from measurements on reference signals, channel estimates per antenna port and frequency. The channel estimates are indicative of power delay values per antenna port towards another radio transceiver device. The method includes determining modified channel estimates per antenna port and frequency with the power delay values outside a threshold delay window being suppressed. The method includes determining directional beamforming weights for beam-formed transmission towards said another radio transceiver device based on the modified channel estimates per antenna port and frequency.

The beams are beamformed at a transmitter of the radio node. When decided that the signal strength on the first beam is a first threshold stronger than the signal strength on each respective at least one second beam, and the signal strength on the at least one second beam is above a second threshold, the radio node increasing the throughput of the MIMO channel by suppressing () the first beam with respect to its beam gain.
