A continuous press arrangement for manufacture of building panels comprises an upper rotatable inlet drum connected to an upper rotatable outlet drum via an upper continuous press belt, and a lower rotatable inlet drum connected to a lower rotatable outlet drum via a lower continuous press belt. The upper and lower press belts form a product path therebetween for feeding a product in response to rotation of one or more of the drums. Upper and lower press tables each comprise a displaceable pressure cushion extending along at least a portion of the path and facilitate a pressure zone between the press table and the press belt. The press table comprises a displacement groove and the pressure cushion is configured to be at least partially received in the displacement groove. The pressure cushion comprises a friction seal element configured to be in contact with the press belt.

Methods and arrangements for continuous manufacture of building panels

A building panel including a balancing layer having a top surface and a bottom surface, a first sub-layer is arranged on the top surface of the balancing layer, wherein the first sub-layer includes a binder, a surface layer arranged above a surface of the first sub-layer facing away from the balancing layer, the surface layer having a top surface and a bottom surface and including a first wood veneer () having a grain direction, wherein an extension of the surface layer in a direction parallel to the grain direction of the first wood veneer is equal or less than an extension of the balancing layer in the direction parallel to the grain direction of the first wood veneer, and wherein the surface layer is arranged within the extension of the balancing layer in the direction parallel to the grain direction of the first wood veneer.

Building panel and a method to produce such a building panel

A method to produce a veneered element, including providing a first layer of a first powder and applying a second layer of a second powder above the first layer. Further the method includes applying a veneer layer above the second layer. Thereafter heating and pressing the first layer, the second layer and the veneer layer together to form the veneered element and forming a bevel at least partly along at least one side portion of the veneered element, where the first layer, the second layer and the veneer layer are at least partly exposed in the bevel.
