A door operator system for opening and closing an opening, comprising a door frame comprising a first frame section and a second frame section on either side the opening. The door is connected to the door frame. A drive unit mounted on the door is moveably connected to first frame section and the second frame section. The drive unit has at least one motor connected to at least one energy storage device arranged to power the at least one motor to move the door from the closed position to the open position. An energy transmitting device is disposed in close proximity to the door and an energy receiving device mounted on the door. The energy transmitting device wirelessly transmits energy to the energy receiving device mounted to the door. The energy receiving device is operatively connected to the at least one energy storage device for charging said energy storage device.

Door operator system with wireless charging capability

A sectional door operator system for opening and closing an opening comprises a door moved between open (O) and closed (C) positions and formed by horizontal and interconnected sections. The door is connected with a door frame with frame sections on opposite sides of the opening. A drive unit system is mounted on one of the sections that moves the sectional door from the closed position (C) to the open position (O). The drive unit system comprises first and second drive units, mounted on opposite sides of the section that each have a drive motor. A sensor device is mounted on a section and connected with a control unit. The control unit controls the drive unit system at least based on sensor data. The sensor data relates to an angle (φ) of the door in relation to a true horizontal plane of the sectional door operator system.

Sectional door operator system

The disclosure relates to an overhead door operator system and to a method for controlling such a system. The overhead door operator system opens and closes an opening. The system includes a first frame section (4) at a first side (7) of the opening (2) and a second frame section (6) at a second side (5) of the opening (2). A door (8) is movably connected to the door frame (3). A drive unit (10) is mounted on the door (8). An elongated transmission member (19) extends along the first side (7) of the opening (2) and the first frame section (4). The drive unit (10) includes a driven transmission member (18) in driving connection with the motor (11) and the elongated transmission member. The method comprises the steps of: detecting door movement; determining if detected door movement relates to unexpected door movement; and, if so, taking action so as to prevent more extensive damages.

Overhead door operator system

A sectional door operator system (I) opens and closes an opening () by operating a plurality of horizontal and interconnected sections (-) that form a sectional door. A door frame () is formed by first frame section () at a first side () of the opening () and a second frame section () at a second side () of the opening (). The plurality of horizontal and interconnected sections (-) are connected to the door frame () to move between an open and a closed position. A drive unit (IO) is mounted on a section () of the door. The drive unit (IO) is arranged to move the sectional door () from the closed position (C) to the open position (). The drive unit (IO) includes a first motor (I la) and a second motor (I lb, which are mounted at different vertical sides of the horizontal and interconnected section (). A control unit () controls the operation of the drive unit (IO). A first sensing element () and a second sensing element () provide operational data of the first and second motor () to the control unit ().

Door operator system

A method of arranging an overhead sectional door (SD) in a doorframe () that defines a door opening, the overhead sectional door (SD) comprising a plurality of door panel sections (). The method disclosed herein involves: a) fitting a first door panel section () in the doorframe (), b) fitting a second door panel section () in the doorframe (), and c) actuating an electric motor (M) to cause the first door panel section () to push the section door panel section () a distance in an upward direction. The method further involves: d) securing the second door panel section () with respect to the doorframe (), e) causing said at least one electric motor (M) to move the first door panel section () a distance in a downward direction, thereby leaving a space () between the secured door panel section and the first door panel section (), f) fitting a next door panel section () in the space (), and g) causing said at least one electric motor (M) to move the first door panel section () a distance in an upward direction. Further, the method involves: h) unsecuring the secured door panel section () with respect to the doorframe (), causing said at least one electric motor (M) to move the first door panel section () a further distance in an upward direction, engaging the top edge of the next door panel section () with the bottom edge of the previously secured door panel section (), and securing the next door panel section () with respect to the doorframe (). The method also involves repeating steps e) to h) for each next door panel section () until at least all but a last door panel section of the overhead sectional door (SD) have been arranged.

Sensors in one or more remote devices provide sensor output to a device having a controller. The controller analyzes the sensor data to determine the accuracy of the sensors outputting the sensor data. Based on the analysis, the controller calculates a calibration value to utilize in calibrating one or more of the sensors in the remote devices, or in one or more other devices.

System and method for the assisted calibration of sensors distributed across different devices

A base unit includes a sensor calibration function. When a user communicatively couples a consumer electronic device having a sensor to the base unit, a controller at the base unit retrieves a calibration reference value for the sensor and/or a sensor algorithm that utilizes data output by the sensor. Once the heading of the user is determined, it is used to calibrate one or more sensor devices or sensor functionalities in the electronic device.

A low-power voice command detection method uses an audio monitoring device to capture sound. The captured sound is analyzed in steps to determine if it fulfills a number of criteria regarding sound level, voice content and identifiable voice commands. For each step the processing is more complex and power demanding. A threshold between the first and subsequent steps is used to gate further processing. This threshold is dynamically adjusted, based on the outcome of the analysis, to avoid unnecessary processing and increase system performance.

An audio headset system for a mobile phone or other audio player includes a pair of earpieces, each including a speaker in a housing and configured to provide audio output, the housing configured for positioning with respect to a user's ear to direct audio output to the ear; and a pair of accelerometers configured to provide acceleration information representative of acceleration of the respective earpieces, wherein together the acceleration information provided from both accelerometers is representative of angular motion in a horizontal plane of the head of a user. A method of determining rotation and/or direction of a user's head wearing a headset including an ear piece with an accelerometer at each ear, includes processing acceleration information from both accelerometers to determine angular motion of the user's head in a generally horizontal plane.

A method of controlling audio recording using an electronic device and an electronic device are described. The electronic device comprises a microphone arrangement having a directivity pattern. A target direction relative to the electronic device is automatically determined in response to sensor data representing at least a portion of an area surrounding the electronic device. The microphone arrangement is automatically controlled in response to the determined target direction to adjust an angular orientation of the directivity pattern relative to the electronic device.

A mobile device receives notification of an incoming call and identifies that an external speaker is connected to the mobile device. The mobile device detects that a user has positioned the mobile device in a position, relative to the user, to use an integrated ear speaker of the mobile device. When the mobile device detects that the user has positioned the mobile device in position to use the integrated ear speaker, the mobile device answers the incoming call and routes audio for the incoming call away from the external speaker and to the integrated ear speaker.
