The present invention relates to a method useful in facilitating the identification of fibrogenesis in a subject. The method of the invention is particularly useful when applied as part of a method to diagnose fibrogenesis of the liver. The invention also provides a compound for use in a method for identification of fibrogenesis in a subject A further aspect of the invention is a compound for use in the preparation of a medicament for use in a method for identification of fibrogenesis in a subject.

Imaging method

The Invention relates to conjugates of formula (III) or (IIIa), or a salt thereof, their use as radiopharmaceuticals, processes for their preparation, and synthetic intermediates used in such processes.

Diagnostic compounds

The invention relates to conjugates of formula (V) or (VI), their use as radiopharmaceuticals, processes for their preparation, and synthetic intermediates used in such processes.

Radiofluorination methods

The present invention provides a novel imaging agent suitable for the non-invasive visualization of fibrosis. A precursor for the preparation of the imaging agent is also provided by the invention, as well as a pharmaceutical composition comprising the imaging agent and a kit for the preparation of the pharmaceutical composition. In a further aspect, use of the imaging agent for in vivo imaging and in the preparation of a medicament for the diagnosis of a condition which comprises fibrosis is provided.
