A protection element for an earth-working implement includes a flat plate having a wearing portion on a side of the flat plate facing a distal end of the earth-working implement. A lower portion of the flat plate forms an attachment portion provided with notches, projecting portions, or a combination thereof configured to engage with the earth-working implement. When the attachment portion is engaged with the earth-working implement, the protection element is configured to project above a plane coinciding with a top surface of at least a portion of the earth-working implement proximal to the protection element such that the portion of the earth-working implement proximal to the protection element is shielded from a flow of loose mass during use of the earth-working implement. The wearing portion is arranged at an upper portion of the flat plate. The attachment portion is arranged at a lower portion of the flat plate.

A wearing-part arrangement for a leading edge of a soil-working implement includes a point configured to be releasably attached to the soil-working implement. The point has a pointed front portion and a transverse elevation projecting from an upper face thereof. At least the front portion is mirror-symmetrical around a longitudinal axis of the point and has first and second oblique faces diverging in a direction of a socket on the point and merging with a first side edge surface and a second side edge surface. The first oblique face is bounded by a first cutting edge, and the second oblique face is bounded by a second cutting edge. When the point is attached to the soil-working implement, at least a rear portion of the second oblique face and the second side edge surface adjacent to the second oblique face project beyond a side edge of the soil-working implement.

Wearing point device with a quick coupling

An assembly for attaching a replaceable wearing part to a leading edge of an implement includes a wearing-part holder configured to be received and fixed to a supporting surface formed at the leading edge of the implement and a replaceable wearing part. One of the wearing-part holder and the wearing part forms an attachment projection and the other of the wearing-part holder and the wearing part forms a corresponding socket. The attachment projection and the socket are provided with corresponding, cooperating guide portions. The guide portions of the wearing-part holder are formed as guide faces racing the supporting surface and being slanted relative to the supporting surfaces in a direction falling when moving away from the leading edge.

Assembly for attaching a replaceable wearing part to an implement

A replaceable wear part device for attachment on a forward edge of a work tool includes at least a portion of the forward edge of the work tool that has an attachment section having spaced engagement surfaces. The wear part device has a complimentary attachment section provided with spaced engagement surfaces in which the respective engagement surfaces may mutually and slidably engage to hold the wear part device attached to the work tool. The wear part device has an elongated eminence arranged crosswise to the intended operating direction of the work tool, and immediately forward of the attachment section of the wear part. The eminence extends laterally across a first sliding surface by a distance at least equal to a distance between the mutually engaged engagement surfaces.
