An overvoltage protective device for DC motor is disclosed. The device includes a voltage-dividing circuit and a control unit, and is electrically connected to a DC motor in parallel. The voltage-dividing circuit has one end thereof electrically connected to an input voltage of the DC motor, and the other end thereof grounded. The control unit is electrically connected to a part of the voltage-dividing circuit for accessing a voltage level thereof and thereby driving the DC motor.

Overvoltage protective device for DC motor

Motors comprising stators and rotors having a plurality of north poles and south poles and methods of controlling the same. A first sensor and a second sensor are provided. The first and second sensors are disposed on the stator in a manner that the first and second sensors never simultaneously detect boundaries between the north and south poles during rotation of the rotor. If any one of the first and second sensors continuously detects a north pole or a south pole for a predetermined duration, the motor is shut off.

Motors and control methods thereof

A full-bridge circuit for a heat dissipation system. The heat dissipation system further includes a fan and a control circuit. The control circuit outputs a first control signal and a second control signal. The full-bridge circuit includes a first control line having a first switch and a third switch serially coupled, a second control line includes a second switch and a fourth switch serially coupled, and a induction coil having one terminal coupled between the first and third switches and the other terminal coupled between the second and fourth switches. The ON/OFF states of the first and second switches are controlled by the first and second control signals respectively. The ON/OFF states of the third and fourth switches are controlled by two driving voltage sources respectively.

Full-bridge circuit

The present invention provides an instantaneous fan stopping method and structure thereof. The method and structure can eliminate the inertial rotating state of the fan when the power supplied to the fan is cut off. In accordance with the present invention, a closed circuit is formed between the two terminals of the coil used to drive the fan. When the closed circuit is formed, the inertial rotation of the fan can generate an induced current in this coil, which, in turn, generates a magnetic force to stop the fan.

Instantaneous fan stopping method and structure thereof

A driving circuit for switches of direct current fan motor is disclosed. The driving circuit includes a plurality of switches, a first control circuit, and a second circuit. The switches are driven by a first pulse width modulation signal and a second pulse width modulation signal, and they are electrically connected with the direct current fan motor in a bridge manner. A third pulse width modulation signal is used to drive the first control circuit connected to at least one of the switches driven by the first pulse width modulation signal. A fourth pulse width modulation signal is used to drive the second control circuit connected to at least one of the switches driven by the second pulse width modulation signal. Especially, either the first pulse width modulation signal or the second pulse width modulation signal is selected as the third pulse width modulation signal or the fourth pulse width modulation signal.
