A traction device for towing an object along a water surface or through a body of water, the traction unit comprising at least one propulsive engine. The device device has a common center of gravity, center of thrust and center of buoyancy (). A bridle () is attached to turn about an axis () through said common center (). A conveyor apparatus (), so-called injector head, for feeding e.g. continuous tubing () or coiled tubing through the conveyor apparatus (), to and from a wellhead and a well below and related to use of well tools. A pair of oppositely located, co-operatively movable, segmented continuous belts () are in the apparatus, each belt comprising a plurality of interconnected gripper shoe carriers () carried and movable by means of a pair of continuous belt drive chains (), wherein a rear side (&#x2033;) of the carrier () has at least one roller () configured to roll about a shaft () attached to the carrier () against an elongate counter-force member () associated with an apparatus frame () and extending between said drive sprockets (), and wherein a gripper shoe () to engage and feed the tubing is located at a front side of each carrier (), The shaft () of the at least one roller () is resiliently supported transversely of its longitudinal axis by means of a plurality of resilient members () fitted in the rear side (&#x2033;) of the carrier () to lie about the shaft () at spaced apart locations.

Conveyor apparatus

A conveyor apparatus (), so-called injector head, to enable feeding of e.g. continuous tubing () or coiled tubing through the conveyor apparatus (), to and from a wellhead and a well below and related to use of well tools. The apparatus has an apparatus frame (), a pair of oppositely located, co-operatively movable, segmented continuous belts () installed in the frame (), each belt comprising a plurality of interconnected gripper shoe carriers () carried and movable by means of a pair of continuous belt drive chains (). A gripper shoe () to engage and convey the tubing () comprises: a gripper shoe base () having at a front thereof longitudinal first and second edge regions (&#x2033;), a first leg () and a second leg () extending at one end (') thereof from said first and second edge regions (&#x2033;), respectively, said legs being inclined towards each other, and first and second device (; CED) gripper members () being located at the other end (&#x2033;) of said first and second legs () and extending in parallel in the direction of the belt ().

A bending restrictor for a rigid but resilient rod-shaped intervention cable includes a series of pipe sections and articulation sleeves. Each pipe section includes a straight pipe piece with a spherical sector in either end. Each articulation sleeve includes two axially oppositely directed spherical-sector seats for holding about each pipe's spherical sector. The spherical sector seats are arranged in either ends of a central axial passage for the intervention cable. Two guide sheaves each with its sheave groove reside in the articulation sleeve's axial plan is laterally displaced relative to the middle of the axial passage so as for enveloping the axial passage for the intervention cable. The articulation sleeve is provided with two opposite axially directed and flattened pivot funnels, and each pivot funnel is provided with its narrower end in adjacent to each its spherical-sector seat. Each pivot funnel has, in the axial plane a funnel shape which allows the pipe section's straight pipe piece to pivot about the spherical sector seat in the axial plane, and wherein the pivot funnel's funnel shape is flattened in another axial plane perpendicular to the first axial plane, so as for the pipe sections to be able to pivot only in the first axial plane. The articulation sleeve is splittable in the plane into two articulation sleeve half housings.

Well intervention cable bending restriction for a rigid resilient rod-shaped intervention cable

The invention relates to an injector head () comprising; a pair of oppositely located, cooperatively movable, segmented continuous belt drive chains (), said each belt drive chain () running over a respective pair of drive sprockets () and tension sprockets (), wherein a tubing receiving section (') is defined between the belt drive chains (). The tubing receiving section (&#x2032;) having a tubing section centerline () extending through the center of the tubing receiving section (&#x2032;). The injector head () having an injector centerline () extending through the centerline of the injector head (), said injector centerline () and said tubing section centerline () being substantially aligned in the longitudinal direction in an initial position, a pair of elongate counter-force members () is positioned at each side of the tubing receiving section (&#x2032;). The injector head () has at least one actuator () adapted to move at least one of said elongate counter-force elongate member () in order to bring the tubing section centerline () out of alignment with said injector centerline ().

Injector head chain synchronization device

A drum unit for an intervention string for a well includes a drum with a drum axis and with a radius, arranged in a structural frame and rotatable by a motor and a tension compensator. The tension compensator includes a guide arch displaceable in a direction generally along the intervention string, orthogonal to the drum axis, using a first force device connected to the structural frame for keeping the intervention string in tension. At least a first end of the guide arch is laterally displaceable in a direction generally orthogonal to the intervention string, parallel with the drum axis. The intervention string runs between the guide arch to or from the first end to the drum. The intervention string runs via a second, opposite end of the guide arch via a second, fixed guide at the structural frame, directly or indirectly to or from the well.

Drum unit with an arch compensator for a well intervention string

A drum unit for an intervention string for a well includes a drum with a radius for the intervention string, arranged in a structural frame and rotatable by a motor, the drum being arranged translating along a drum axis and driven by a translation motor, for controlled winding of the intervention string onto the drum relative to a first, fixed guide in the structural frame. A compensator includes a guide arch, the guide arch being displaceable in a direction orthogonal to the drum axis using a force device at the structural frame. The intervention string runs between the guide arch and the first fixed guide to or from a first end of the guide arch to the drum. The intervention string runs via a second, opposite end of the guide arch via a second, fixed guide at the structural frame, to or from the well.
