The system determines the format of the message, and whether to, and how to, modify the message based on information about the recipient. For example, a recipient category may be used to determine how to personalize a message for each recipient. A relationship between a sender and recipient may be determined using, for example, a database of relationship information. The system modifies, for example, text, images, or video of the message to generate the personalized message. The system may access historical communications records such as a chat group record, a contacts list, a text message record, an email message record, a social media post record, or a comments record corresponding to a media content item to determine how to personalize a message.

Systems and methods for personalizing messages based on a recipient relationship

Systems and methods are described herein for automatically identifying spam in social media comments based on comparison of the context or topic of the popular or trending post with the context or topic of each comment associated with the post. Content of a social media post is processed to identify a topic of the social media post. A plurality of comments associated with the social media post are accessed and the topic of each comment is compared to the topic of the social media post and, if the topics do not match, the comment is identified as spam. A notification is generated for display to an administrator of the social media platform on which the social media post resides identifying the comment as spam.

Systems and methods for automatically identifying spam in social media comments based on context

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for providing a recommendation to modify deficient a deficient content item. A plurality of content items associated with a topic is retrieved. Each of the content items includes a plurality of portions each associated with a respective sub-topic. A rating for each sub-topic of the content items is calculated, and a minimum viable subset of the sub-topics is identified based on the calculated ratings. A new content item associated with the topic is accessed. A plurality of portions of the new content item is identified and a sub-topic for each identified portion is determined. An omitted sub-topic of the minimum viable subset of the sub-topics that is not included in the sub-topics of the new content item is identified, and the system interrupts upload of the new content and recommends modifying the new content item to include a portion with the omitted sub-topic.

Systems and methods for providing recommendation to modify deficient content item

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for optimizing bandwidth for broadcast transmission. The disclosed techniques herein provide for receiving first and second content for transmission to subscriber devices on a first and second channels. The system then determines whether the first and second content contain a common segment. If so, the system updates metadata schema (e.g., homogeneous channel descriptor, homogeneous switch descriptor) to indicate there is a common segment. The system may generate a transport stream during multiplexing of the first and second channels based on the updated metadata schema. The transport stream, for a time duration based on the at least one common segment, includes a first audio feed of the first content and a first video feed of the first content to be provided on the second channel. The system then transmits the transport stream to the one or more subscriber devices.

Systems and methods for optimizing bandwidth for data transmission

A method of detecting establishment of a voice communication between a first voice communication equipment and a second voice communication equipment and automating requests for content. Systems and methods are disclosed for activating a personalized user profile on a device based on the detection of an outlying user input. A media guidance application detects a user input that is inconsistent with an active user profile. In response, the media guidance application identifies a candidate user that both shares a location with the device and has a user profile consistent with the user input. The media guidance application activates the user profile of the candidate user as a temporary active user profile on the device.

The personalized message include the original message along with context information to help indicate the relevance of the message to the recipient. The context information can include text, images, video, or other information. To illustrate, the context information can include keywords or identifiers that indicate entities associated with the message.

Systems and methods for automated contact generation based on content communications are disclosed herein. A rule is retrieved from a rules database, the rule defining criteria for identifying contact-related data within a content item electronically communicated from a source account to a destination account. Based on the rule, the contact-related data within the content item is identified. In response to identifying the contact-related data within the content item, the contact-related data is automatically extracted from the content item, a contact entry corresponding to the source account is automatically generated based on the extracted contact-related data, and the contact entry is automatically stored for the destination account in a contact database.

Automated contact creation based on content communications

Methods and systems are described for preventing a message from being sent to an unintended recipient. A first context data structure is generated for a first conversation, a second context data structure is created for a second conversation, and then a message input is received as intended for the first conversation. The message is correlated with each of the first context data structures and the second context data structure to determine a relevance score corresponding to each of the first and second conversation. The relevance scores are compared and if the relevance score for the first conversation is greater than the relevance score for the second conversation, the message is sent; however, if the relevance score for the second conversation is greater than the relevance score for the first conversation, the message is not sent and the message is prevented from being sent to, for example, an unintended recipient.
