The device may further determine, based on user behavior information relating to the users, affinities of the users; and determine commonality of the affinities of the users. One or more network devices receive user criteria for providing anonymization of data from a user device and generate a default workflow for achieving the user criteria. The network devices provide, to the user device, the default workflow and receive user input to the default workflow. The network devices also receive anonymized data transmitted from the user device based on the final workflow instructions. An approach for enabling contextual categories to be associated and scored in connection with a defined geographic region is described. A transient services platform establishes, based on biometric authentication of a user, a limited session for completing a transaction. The transient services platform then determines, based on a defined geographic region, a context to associate with the transaction. Credentials associated with the user are transferred to the transaction agent based on the authentication and the determined context.

Method and system for initiating secure transactions within a defined geographic region

A server device includes a storage device to store policies that govern the manner in which a curtailment operation or a replenish operation are performed. The policies include a threshold associated with a quantity of power consumption permitted by smart grid devices or another threshold associated with a minimum quantity of power to be supplied by a smart grid device. The server device also includes a processor to obtain, via a web service enabled by a tunneling protocol, a quantity of power consumed by the smart grid devices and another quantity of power to be supplied by the smart grid device; compare the threshold with the quantity of power; send an instruction to perform the curtailment operation when the quantity of power exceeds the threshold; compare the other threshold with the other quantity of power, when the quantity of power is less than the threshold; and send another instruction to perform the replenish operation when the other quantity of power is less than the other threshold.
