A method, computer program product, and/or system is disclosed for changing the events monitored by a processor including: determining whether a change in the monitoring of the first event to the second different event has been requested; copying, in response to a request to change the monitoring of the first event to the second different event, op-codes from memory into microcode executable by a general processing engine; and executing the op-codes from memory by the general processing engine to change the first event monitored by the counter to the second different event.

Embodiments include a system for performance monitoring, the system includes a processor configured to perform a method. The method includes detecting, by a redundancy register, a change to a counter value corresponding to one of a plurality of hardware counters, wherein the redundancy register comprises a plurality of memory locations; storing, in each of the plurality of memory locations, a value indicating a change was detected for the counter value corresponding to the plurality of hardware counters, wherein each of the plurality of hardware counters map to one of the plurality of memory locations; performing read operation on a subset of the hardware counters, wherein members of the subset of the hardware counters are determined based upon the value indicating that the change was detected for the counter value corresponding to the plurality of hardware counters; and resetting the value stored in all the memory locations to a default value.

The invention discloses a dermaceutical cream containing steroids and an antibacterial agent in the form of Fusidic acid, which Fusidic acid is formed in situ from Sodium Fusidate as the starting raw material, wherein Sodium Fusidate is converted into Fusidic acid under oxygen-free environment. The cream of the present invention has greater shelf-life stability and the finer particle size of the API than the conventional creams containing Fusidic acid. The cream of the present invention contains Fusidic acid as the API that has been formed in situ from Sodium Fusidate, and steroids in a cream base comprising an acid, a co-solvent, an emulsifier and a waxy material along with water, preferably purified water.

The cream produced by the process of the present invention has greater shelf-life stability and the finer particle size of the API than the conventional creams containing Fusidic acid. The present invention is directed to a composition for treating bacterial skin infections & skin inflammation, along with skin rejuvenation. More particularly, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical cream comprising a biopolymer, a corticosteroid and an antibacterial active ingredient. It discloses a composition for treating bacterial skin infections & skin inflammation, along with skin rejuvenation containing a) a biopolymer in the form of chitosan, b) a combination of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), neomycin sulphate & betamethasone valerate used in treating bacterial skin infections & skin inflammations, c) a cream base containing primary and secondary emulsifiers, waxy materials, co-solvents, acids, preservatives, buffering agents, anti oxidants, chelating agents, and humectants and d) water. A method for managing a virtual memory system configured to allow multiple page sizes is described. Each page size has at least one table associated with it. The method involves maintaining entries in the tables to keep track of the page size for which the effective address is mapped. When a new effective address to physical address mapping needs to be made for a page size, the method accesses the appropriate tables to identify prior mappings for another page size in the same segment. If no such conflicting mapping exists, it creates a new mapping in the appropriate table. A formula is used to generate an index to access a mapping in a table.
