A server computer processes infusion pump data for presentation on an operator interface. The computer includes a network circuit configured to provide communications over a network and a processing circuit. The processing circuit receives infusion pump history data from a plurality of infusion pumps, including an indication that a user inputted to an infusion pump a parameter which was outside of a prestored limit, an indication that a user was notified that the parameter was outside the prestored limit, an indication that the infusion pump parameter was returned to within the prestored limit, and an indication that the user started infusion on the pump at the parameter within the prestored limit. Display data indicating reprogram and override events is generated for display on an operator interface.

Distribution servers and methods are disclosed for downloading data sets to patient devices. The server has a network interface circuit, a memory and a processing circuit. The memory receives a data set, the data set having parameters to be used by software on the patient devices to perform patient-related functions. The data set has a software version indicator for the data set. A processing circuit compares the software version indicator of the data set to a current software version of the patient device and determines that an inequality exists. Based on this determination, the server distributes the data set to the patient device.

An example tangible computer readable storage medium includes instructions that, when executed, cause a processor to at least launch a first user interface to configure a first user group based on a first role, generate a role mapping in response to configuring the first user group based on the first association, launch a second user interface to configure the first user group based on a first deployment location, generate a location mapping in response to configuring the first user group based on the second association, generate a combined location and role mapping based on the role mapping and the location mapping, and launch a third user interface to facilitate interaction of the first user account with the medical device in response to determining whether the first user account is authorized to access the medical device based on the combined mapping.

Certain examples provide systems, methods, and apparatus for medical device management. An example method includes comparing a first identification of a first data set to a second identification of a second data set at a medical device. The example method includes, when the first identification does not match the second identification, triggering a download of the second data set to the medical device. The example method includes determining an operating state of the medical device. The example method includes, when the operating state indicates the medical device is idle, triggering activation of the second data set in place of the first data set at the medical device. The example method includes facilitating operation of the medical device according to the second data set.
