A heat shield assembly for a vehicle wheel is provided. The heat shield assembly includes either a single tubular heat shield panel or a plurality of heat sectional panel sections arranged to be connected to one another to form a tubular heat shield panel. Each of the plurality of heat sectional panel sections have an inner diameter surface and an outer diameter surface, the outer diameter surface arranged to be positioned, in use, adjacent to and spaced apart from an inner diameter surface of a wheel. Each panel section is provided with one or more grooves extending in the circumferential direction. One or more wires are provided in one or more of the grooves.

Heat shield assembly for wheel

A latching mechanism for a brake actuator is provided. The latching mechanism comprising an annular flange and a plurality of resilient elements extending radially inwardly from the annular flange. Each of the plurality of resilient elements comprises a U-shaped cross-section and a tooth on a radially inner end. The tooth is configured to conform to and engage with ratchet teeth of a wear compensation sleeve of a brake actuator.

A clip for a rotor disk of a brake assembly, the clip comprising: a first half comprising a first sheet metal strip having a body portion and a first end and a second end bent in a first direction relative to the body portion; and a second half comprising a second sheet metal strip having a body portion having a length the same as the length of the body portion of the first sheet metal strip, the second sheet metal strip having a first end and a second end bent in a second direction, opposite to the first direction, relative to the body portion of the second sheet metal strip; and wherein one of the first end of the first sheet metal strip and the first end of the second sheet metal strip is provided with a first pin protruding from the end.

Rotor clip for brake assembly

The present application relates to a piston assembly for engaging two selectively engageable parts. The piston assembly has a housing defining a piston cylinder and a piston. The assembly also has a piston stroke limiter. The piston stroke limiter is configured to limit the length of a return stroke of the piston from an extended stroke position and a retracted stroke position. A crushable body acts between the piston and the piston stroke limiter and is arranged to reduce in axial length when a length of an extended stroke exceeds a length of a retraction stroke to maintain the length of the return stroke.

Piston assembly with adjuster

A transmission shaft is provided comprising an input side for inputting torque, an output side for outputting torque, and a rod extending in a longitudinal direction between the input side and the output side to transfer torque along the transmission shaft. The rod comprises a first end provided at the input side, a second end provided at the output side and a torsional compliant section extending therebetween providing the transmission shaft with a torsional stiffness. The torsional compliant section comprises a cross-section which extends in the longitudinal direction to define a central core for transmitting torque directly from the first end to the second end and a radially outer section. This section also comprises a plurality ribs which extend radially and longitudinally from an outer periphery of the central core for increasing transverse stiffness of the rod.
