A garment steaming device includes a steam generator () having a heater () and an ironing surface () against which a fabric of a garment is locatable. An intermediate section () is disposed between the steam generator and the ironing surface to transfer heat from the steam generator to the ironing surface so that the ironing surface is indirectly heated by the steam generator via the intermediate section. The operating temperature of the ironing surface is not user selectable during use. Furthermore, the intermediate section is configured to have a thermal transmittance so that, during use, heat transfer from the steam generator to the ironing surface is controlled and the temperature of the ironing surface is maintained between 90&#xb0; C. and 155&#xb0; C. when the ironing surface is located against a fabric in each of a stationary condition and a moving condition.

Garment steaming device

A garment steamer () comprising a base body () accommodating a liquid water tank (); a liquid water pump (), having a water inlet () and a water outlet (), wherein the water inlet () is fluidly connected to the liquid water tank (). The garment steamer also comprises a steam head () that is moveable with respect to the base body () and that accommodates a steam chamber (), having a liquid water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein said steam outlet includes at least one steam nozzle (); a heating element () that is provided in or adjacent said steam chamber (), and configured to evaporate liquid water passing through said steam chamber. A liquid water tube () fluidly interconnects the water outlet () of the water pump () and the liquid water inlet of the steam chamber () in the steam head ().

Garment steamer and method for the same

The present invention relates to an ironing board cover with at least three layers () that are arranged on top of each other, wherein one of the layers () is a heat resistant cover layer () that is permeable to steam (), another one of the layers () is a porous layer () that is at least partially permeable to steam () and heat, and a further one of the layers () is a water proof layer () that is impermeable to steam () and/or liquid, wherein the porous layer () is arranged between the cover layer () and the water proof layer ().
