Embodiments of the present invention provide a signal processing method, a network apparatus, and a system. The method includes: mapping a received first client signal into a first ODUflex; mapping the first ODUflex into an optical channel data tributary unit (ODTUCn.X) including X tributary slots, where X is a non-integer; and multiplexing the ODTUCn.X into an optical channel payload unit (OPUCn). According to the signal processing method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, carrying efficiency can be improved when a fine-grained service is transmitted, and complexity is relatively low.

The invention relates to techniques for controlling a dynamic hitless resizing in data transport networks. According to a method aspect of the invention, a network connection comprises M tributary slots defined in a payload area of a higher order transport scheme of the data transport network and the method comprises the steps of receiving a connection resize control signal at each of the nodes along the path of the network connection; adding at each node along the path in response to the connection resize control signal a second set of N tributary slots to the first set of the M tributary slots, such that the network connection comprises M+N tributary slots; and increasing, after M+N tributary slots are available for the network connection at each node along the path, a transport data rate of the network connection.

Dynamic hitless resizing in optical transport networks

Embodiments of the present invention provide a data processing method, related device, and system for an optical transport network. The data processing method for the optical transport network includes: encapsulating service data into an optical payload unit; mapping the optical payload unit to an optical channel data unit; mapping the optical channel data unit to a payload area of an optical burst transport unit; performing electrical-optical conversion on the optical burst transport unit to form an optical burst transport unit; carrying the optical burst transport unit onto an optical timeslot of an optical burst channel; and transmitting the optical burst channel to a line. Technical solutions provided by the present invention can effectively simplify a data processing process and reduce a data processing delay.
