A solid electrolyte of the present disclosure includes: a porous dielectric having a plurality of pores interconnected mutually; and an electrolyte including a metal salt and at least one selected from the group consisting of an ionic compound and a bipolar compound and at least partially filling an interior of the plurality of pores. Inner surfaces of the plurality of pores of the porous dielectric are at least partially modified by a functional group containing a halogen atom.

Solid electrolyte, electrode, power storage device, and method for producing solid electrolytes

A solid electrolyte () of the present disclosure includes porous silica () having a plurality of pores () interconnected mutually and an electrolyte () coating inner surfaces of the plurality of pores (). The electrolyte () includes 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide represented by EMI-TFSI and a lithium salt dissolved in the EMI-TFSI. A molar ratio of the EMI-TFSI to the porous silica () is larger than 1.5 and less than 2.0.

A solid nanocomposite electrolyte material comprising a mesoporous dielectric material comprising a plurality of interconnected pores and an electrolyte layer covering inner surfaces of the mesoporous dielectric material. The electrolyte layer comprises: a first layer comprising a first dipolar compound or a first ionic compound, the first dipolar or ionic compound comprising a first pole of a first polarity and a second pole of a second polarity opposite to the first polarity, wherein the first layer is adsorbed on the inner surfaces with the first pole facing the inner surfaces; and a second layer covering the first layer, the second layer comprising a second ionic compound or a salt comprising first ions of the first polarity and second ions of the second polarity, wherein the first ions of the ionic compound or salt are bound to the first layer.

Solid nanocomposite electrolyte materials

A solid electrolyte () of the present disclosure includes porous silica () having a plurality of pores () interconnected mutually and an electrolyte () coating inner surfaces of the plurality of pores (). The electrolyte () includes 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide represented by EMI-FSI and a lithium salt dissolved in the EMI-FSI. A molar ratio of the EMI-FSI to the porous silica () is larger than 1.0 and less than 3.5.

A solid electrolyte () of the present disclosure includes: a porous dielectric () having a plurality of pores () interconnected mutually; an electrolyte () including a metal salt and at least one selected from the group consisting of an ionic compound and a bipolar compound, the electrolyte () at least partially filling an interior of each of the plurality of pores (); and a surface adsorption layer () adsorbed on inner surfaces of the plurality of pores () to induce polarization. The surface adsorption layer () may include water adsorbed on the inner surfaces of the plurality of pores (). The surface adsorption layer () may include a polyether adsorbed on the inner surfaces of the plurality of pores ().

Solid electrolyte, electrode, and power storage device

The disclosure relates to a method for the fabrication of a thin-film solid-state battery with Ni(OH)electrode, battery cell, and battery. One example embodiment is a method for fabricating a thin-film solid-state battery cell on a substrate comprising a first current collector layer. The method includes depositing above the first current collector layer a first electrode layer. The first electrode layer is a nanoporous composite layer that includes a plurality of pores having pore walls. The first electrode layer includes a mixture of a dielectric material and an active electrode material. The method also includes depositing above the first electrode layer a porous dielectric layer. The method further includes depositing directly on the porous dielectric layer a second electrode layer. Depositing the second electrode layer includes depositing a porous Ni(OH)layer using an electrochemical deposition process.
