A grain cart is provided with an internal frame and a method of constructing a grain cart with an internal frame is provided. The grain cart can have a support frame, ground wheels, a hitch assembly, and a storage hopper supported on the support frame. The storage hopper can have a spine member running along the center portion, corresponding pairs of rib members connected at intervals along the spine member and a plurality of panels connected between adjacent rib members. The storage hopper can be constructed by connecting a plurality of rib members to a spine member, connecting a cross brace across corresponding pairs of rib members, inserting panels between adjacent rib members, and connecting the panels to rib members.

Grain cart structure and method of making same

A grain cart having an access door. The grain cart can have a storage hopper supported on a frame and defining an interior space. The storage hopper having an upper wall; and, a lower wall extending downwards and angled inwards with an opening passing through the lower wall. The access door is sized to cover the opening and opens into the interior space. A ladder assembly is attached to the lower wall below the opening and foldable between an extended position to provide access to the opening and the access door and a retracted position.

Ground level access point for grain carts

A belt and a belt conveyor are provided for transporting particulate material and especially oilseeds up the belt conveyor. The belt conveyor can include an intake end having a hopper, a discharge end, a body extending between the intake end and the discharge end and a belt. The belt travels along a travel path in the belt conveyor; the belt traveling through the hopper, up an upper run in the body to the discharge end, down a return run in the body, and back through the hopper. The belt can have a top surface having pairs of adjacent ridges provided on the top surface, each ridge having a pair of arms extending from a point, in a travel direction of the belt, wherein each pair of adjacent ridges define a v-channel on the top surface of the belt.
