A radio-frequency identification (RFID) system includes RFID tags arranged in a plurality of separate rows, a RFID reader, and a computer system including a processor, a non-transitory computer readable medium, and one or more applications stored in the non-transitory computer readable medium. The one or more applications, when executed by the processor, initiate by the RFID reader a row scan, and modulate, using a beamforming control module, a configuration of a radiation beam. In addition, the one or more applications, when executed by the processor, modulate by a power control module an emission power of the reader antenna during the performance of the row scan, and detect by the RFID reader one or more of the RFID tags positioned along a row.

In various embodiments, systems and methods for ledger-based cookie management are provided. Rather than store cookie data as text files on the local device drive, cookie data is recorded to a blockchain technology cookie ledger store on a network resource. When a client application (e.g., a browser) on the UE is directed to a cloud-based service, and that cloud-based service calls for access to a cookie, that call is processed by a cookie gateway executing on the UE. The cookie gateway may verify authenticity of the user and generate a cookie access token that it transmits to the cloud-based service. The cloud-based service may use the cookie access token to locate the cookie ledger and access one or more records storing cookie data used by the cloud-based service. The cookie access token may expire upon termination of the session between the user equipment and the cloud-based service.

Systems and methods for ledger-based cookie management

A data communication system serves a wireless communication device over a Non Third Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) network slice. The data communication system receives a request for the non-3GPP slice from the wireless communication device over a non-3GPP access node. The data communication system exchanges network signaling with a 3GPP network. The data communication system receives an authorization from the 3GPP network for the wireless communication device to use the non-3GPP network slice. The data communication system establishes a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for the wireless communication device over the non-3GPP access node in response to the authorization from the 3GPP network. The data communication system exchanges user data with the wireless communication device over the VPN. The data communication system exchanges the user data with a non-3GPP communication system over the VPN or another VPN for the non-3GPP communication system.

An apparatus configured to control operation of a product. The apparatus includes an integrated RFID tag embedded in the product and configured to communicate with an external user device. The integrated RFID tag stores a first working key associated with the product and is further configured to receive a second working key transmitted from the external user device. The apparatus includes control logic operatively coupled to the integrated RFID tag and configured to read the first working key and the second working key from the integrated RFID tag. The control logic determines whether the first and second working keys match and, in response to a determination that the first and second working keys match, the control logic enables a controlled functionality of the product.

Techniques related to the management of communication devices using a combination of local and centralized blockchains to enable the detection of state changes that deviate from the expected behaviors are disclosed. In one example aspect, a method for detecting code injection activity in communication devices by a machine learning based platform includes determining, by a verification system, baseline information about a communication device; detecting a state change of the communication device, responsive to the state change of the communication device; appending, by the verification system, a current-state block representing the state change to a prior-state block representing a previous state of the communication device in a blockchain; and detecting whether a suspicious attack has occurred by comparing the payload of the current-state block to the baseline information.

Synchronization of precision timing signals maintained by multiple communication networks is described. A precision timing signal may be generated based on the change in state of a plurality of processors. Synchronization of the precision timing signals may be facilitated by a computing device monitoring at least two communication networks. The computing device may generate time offsets that are derived from the precision timing signals associated with each communication network. The time offsets may be communicated by the computing devices to remote devices communicatively coupled to the computing device via a first communication network.

Methods and systems are provided for assigning one or more Virtual Network Function (VNF) instances, or slices, to devices, and for monitoring each change of state associated with the slices. Embodiments include applying an Advanced Security Control (ASC) protocol to verify devices for each request for access to a slice, to establish a zero trust measurement with respect to a network, such as a 5G network. In embodiments, a blockchain is associated with each slice and stored in a distributed ledger, for example to allow rapid access to network slice and device information if a slice will be re-instantiated.

The NEF receives network data from the wireless communication network that indicates a delivery of the wireless data service to the user. The NEF exposes service data to the user in response to the network data. The service data characterizes the delivery of the wireless data service and indicates the service charge.

A collector ambient electromagnetic power harvesting (AEPH) device for collecting and forwarding data is disclosed. The device includes an antenna, an AEPH circuit converting RF energy from the antenna into electrical power, and a memory and a controller powered by the AEPH circuit. The controller receives in a first RF signal information from a reporter AEPH device, including data and the reporter ID. The controller stores the data in the memory with an association to the reporter ID. The controller receives in a second RF signal an interrogation signal. In response, the controller transmits a response via the antenna including the reporter ID and data in the memory associated with the reporter ID. The interrogation signal may be received and the response transmitted in a first RF band and/or communication protocol, and the information may be received in a second RF band and/or communication protocol.

In one embodiment, a method comprises: detecting when a UE has initiated access to a network operator core through a radio access network; determining whether a witness data collection service is to be activated for the UE; when the witness data collection service is to be activated: activating the wireless data collection service for a UE monitoring session; initiating transmission of a UE monitoring session block sequence from the UE to the network operator core, wherein the session block sequence comprises blocks each comprising collected witness data characterizing a connection between the UE and the network operator core during the UE monitoring session; determining when the UE monitoring session is complete; closing the session block sequence to form a ledger archive and storing the ledger archive to an immutable witness data archive.

A programmable radio exposure function switches between real-time and near-real-time modes of operation for a radio access network (RAN) intelligent controller of a telecommunications system. An application programming interface is exposed by the radio exposure function and performs radio resource management for the telecommunications system. The application programming interface communicates with services and/or applications to control RAN functions, and allocates RAN resources of the telecommunications system to a user equipment for the services and/or applications. The wireless communication system retrieves the data set from the memory circuitry with the decrypted content-address.
