A carriage slider and rail assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a linear rail including one or more surfaces that define a channel. The assembly may include a carriage slider sub-assembly. The sub-assembly may include a slider configured to be axially displaceable within the channel of the linear rail. The sub-assembly may include one or more overload protection lobes including a first overload protection lobe positioned adjacent to a first end of the slider and a second overload protection lobe positioned adjacent to a second end of the slider. The sub-assembly may include one or more friction reducing portions. The overload protection lobes may make contact with the channel of the linear rail when an abuse load is applied to provide overload protection. The overload protection lobes may be configured to not make contact with the channel of the linear rail when an abuse load is not applied.

A wall assembly for a passenger cabin such as an aircraft passenger suite. The assembly includes a first fixed wall, a second fixed wall positioned relative to the first fixed wall to define an interior space, an entrance formed between the first fixed wall and the second fixed wall for accessing the interior space, and a movable wall section movably mounted to the first fixed wall. In use, the movable wall section is movable between a first position in the entrance and a second position in the interior space, wherein motion includes at least rotational and vertical motion components. In a particular use case, the wall portion is temporarily movable to expand the entrance to facilitate reduced mobility passenger access into the interior space.

A redundant rail and carriage assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a primary sub-assembly including a primary rail and a primary carriage. The assembly may include a secondary sub-assembly including a secondary rail and a secondary carriage, the secondary rail being different than the primary rail, the secondary carriage being different than the secondary carriage. The assembly may be configured to couple to an actuatable door configured to actuate between a stowed door position and a deployed door position via at least one intermediate door position using one of the primary sub-assembly or the secondary sub-assembly, the secondary sub-assembly being configured to actuate the actuatable door via the secondary rail and the secondary carriage if one of the primary rail or the primary carriage of the primary sub-assembly fails.

Redundant rail and carriage assembly

A method for changing passenger seating angle according to an aircraft flight mode utilizing a raked passenger seat configuration in which the seat angle relative to an aircraft longitudinal axis increases as the passenger seat transitions from an upright condition to a reclined condition. Such a passenger seat may be utilized in an aircraft passenger seating arrangement to maximize seating density while complying with defined taxi, takeoff and landing (TTOL) certification criteria for oblique seats, among other applications and benefits.

Seat assemblies and methods for changing a passenger sitting angle according to aircraft flight mode

A seat drivetrain assembly for an aircraft seat is disclosed. The assembly may include a seatback drivetrain sub-assembly configured to actuate a seatback frame of a seat frame of the aircraft seat between a first position and at least a second position. The assembly may include a seat pan drivetrain sub-assembly configured to actuate a seat pan frame of the seat frame of the aircraft seat between a first position and at least a second position. The assembly may include an actuator sub-assembly configured to cause one of the seatback drivetrain sub-assembly or the seat pan drivetrain sub-assembly to actuate one of the seatback frame or the seat pan frame of the aircraft seat between the first position and the at least second position.

An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a first side with a first display device, a second side with a second display device, and a privacy divider separating the first side and the second side. The first display device may be configured to actuate between a first deployed position and a first stowed position via a first stowage mechanism. The second display device may be configured to actuate between a second deployed position and a second stowed position via a second stowage mechanism. The privacy divider may include one or more panels configured to actuate between a panel deployed position and a panel stowed position. The privacy divider may be open when at least one of the first display device is in the first stowed position, the second display device is in the second stowed position, or the one or more panels are in the panel stowed position.

Stowage mechanisms for display devices of aircraft passenger compartment suites

An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a privacy divider configured to separate a first side of the aircraft passenger compartment suite including a first aircraft seat and a second side of the aircraft passenger compartment suite including a second aircraft seat. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a collapsible display device positioned proximate to the privacy divider of the aircraft passenger compartment suite. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a first display device and a first plate configured to be an extension of a horizontal surface in the first side when the first display device is in a first display device stowed position. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a second display device and a second plate configured to be an extension of a horizontal surface in the second side when the second display device is in a second display device stowed position.

Actuatable display devices for aircraft passenger compartment suites

An aircraft passenger compartment may include an accessibility door, a privacy shell, a privacy shell base, and an aircraft seat. The accessibility door may be coupled to the privacy shell via at least one actuation assembly. The accessibility door may be configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position via the at least one actuation assembly. The privacy shell may be coupled to the privacy shell base. At least a portion of the privacy shell may be configured to conform to at least a portion of the aircraft seat. The privacy shell base may be configured to support the accessibility door at a height above a floor of an aircraft cabin including the aircraft passenger compartment. The height may be selected to allow access to the aircraft seat over the privacy shell base when the accessibility door is in the open position.
