A drain seal for connecting a drain tube to a support structure includes a molded unitary body having first and second moldingly joined portions, each formed of dissimilar durometer materials. The first portion is formed to sealingly join the body to a drain tube. The second portion is formed to mount the body in an aperture in a support structure. A bore extends completely through the body.

Drain seal for vehicle drain tube

A connection between a fluid conduit and an air flow port mounted on an air flow device includes a housing having a through bore which receives a flange on an end form of the conduit. One end of the port is disposed in the bore in the housing in sealed engagement with the end form. A transverse bore in the housing receives a retainer to lock the port in the housing preventing axial separation of the port from the conduit.

Air flow conduit quick connector

A quick connector for connecting fluid lines includes a first connector having a housing for receiving a spool carrying conduit. The spool sealingly engages an endform on the conduit. At least one seal element and a retainer ring are pre-mounted in a bore in the housing and engage the spool to form a seal between the inner surface of the bore in the housing and the spool and to retain the spool in a fully inserted position in the housing. A method of assembling the quick connector is disclosed in which a stuffer pin is preassembled with the retainer ring mounted at a compressed diameter within a retaining collar on one end of the stuffer pin and the seal element mounted the stuffer pin. The stuffer pin is inserted into the bore in the housing until the seal element snaps into one groove in the bore and the retainer ring engages another groove in the bore in the housing. The stuffer pin is removed and a spool having a tapered end portion is slid through the retainer ring causing the tapered portion to expand the retaining ring outward until the retaining ring snaps behind an end shoulder on the spool. A centering collar carried on one of the spool engages an inner surface of the retaining ring to concentrically center the retaining ring with respect to a longitudinal axis through the tube and spool.

High pressure quick connector

A nozzle for a vehicle window washing system includes a stem releasibly attachable through an aperture in a vehicle panel. A through bore extends through the stem and receives a spring biased check ball. Ribs project inward into the bore for supporting the spring and for forming fluid flow paths exteriorly of the spring through the stem. A head having a fluid discharge bore is snap connected to the stem via a mating projection and recess. A flange projects intermediately between the ends of the stem and seats on a vehicle panel to isolate the snap connection between the head and the stem from the mounting connection between the stem and the vehicle panel. A secondary connection is provided by a plurality of projections extending outward from the flange into recesses in a peripheral side wall of the head. A seal is mounted between the stem and the head.
