A novel vacuum cleaner bag is disclosed comprising a closed receptacle having an inlet orifice, the bag being formed from a sheet containing at least 65% flashspun polyolefin fibers. The vacuum cleaner bag is suitable for conventional vacuum cleaners and provides efficient removal of particulate matter, especially soil particles less than 10 microns in size.

High efficiency vacuum cleaner bags

A general purpose hard surface cleaner concentrate comprising an organic solvent system comprising from about 1 to about 10% of an organic solvent selected from the group of alkylene and polyalkylene glycols and lower alkyl ethers of alkylene and polyalkylene glycols; from about 3 to 15% of a nonionic or anionic surfactant; from about 1 to about 10% of a builder system comprising 25 to 99% of a first builder and from about 5 to 65% of a second builder which is a polyacrylic resin having a molecular weight between about 500 to about 8,000; from about 1 to about 15% of a hydrotrope which is an alkali metal salt of a cyclohexene dicarboxylic acid, and water. The preferred hydrotrope is the potassium salt of 5 (or 6) carboxy-4-hexyl-2-cyclohexene-1-octanoic acid. In use the concentrate is diluted to a ratio of 10 to 150 parts water per part of the concentrate, although is useful full strength as a spot cleaner.

All purpose cleaner concentrate composition

A hard surface cleaning composition forming upon agitation a relatively unstable emulsion breakable when applied to the hard surface to be cleaned comprising on a weight basis from about 2 to about 10% of an organic polar solvent; from about 0.1 to about 2.0% of a volatile organosiloxane; from about 0.1 to about 2.0% of a volatile surfactant having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkynyl of from 2 to 5 carbons; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or an alkyl of less than 4 carbons, and R.sub.3 is an alkyl or hydroxy alkyl of from 1 to 8 carbons, the total number of carbons being from 4 to 12, and water, the ratio of said volatile surfactant to said volatile organosiloxane being between about 3:1 to about 1:3. The preferred volatile surfactant is 3,5-dimethyl-1-hexyn-3-ol, while the preferred siloxane is the dimethyl siloxane cyclic tetramer.

Hard surface cleaning composition

A cleaning and polishing composition for acrylic plastic substrates, including Plexiglas, Lexan and the like, as well as other hard surfaces is provided by an aqueous dispersion of a fluid silicone oil such as polydimethylsiloxane, a nonionic or anionic surfactant such as sodium lauryl sulfate and a fluorinated organic surface-active compound, the balance being water. These compositions provide fast, streak-free and dust repelling cleaning and polishing, especially suitable for Plexiglas and other acrylic plastic materials.

Composition for cleaning and imparting antistatic properties to plastics

A composition for cleaning a wide variety of hard surfaces in a no rinse mode, comprised of a mixture of organic solvents at least one having a low boiling point and at least one having a relatively higher boiling point, an alkali-metal polyphosphate, fugitive alkaline material, a first surfactant which is a nonionic or anionic surfactant, a second surfactant which is a fluorinated hydrocarbon anionic or nonionic surfactant, and water.
