A battery cover plate assembly, a cell, a battery module, a power battery, and an electric vehicle are provided. The battery cover plate assembly includes a cover plate, an inner lead-out member, and an outer electrode terminal. The inner lead-out member and the outer electrode terminal are electrically connected by using a current interrupt apparatus. A flipping member of the current interrupt apparatus is electrically connected to the outer electrode terminal. A score member is electrically connected to the inner lead-out member. A score is formed on the score member and is electrically connected to the flipping member. The inner lead-out member is mounted on the cover plate through a cover plate insulator. The cover plate insulator has a first engagement portion engaged with the cover plate and a second engagement portion engaged with the inner lead-out member.

Battery cover plate assembly comprising a current interrupt apparatus

A battery, a battery pack, and a vehicle are disclosed. The battery includes a housing having a sealed chamber, a core packaged in the sealed chamber, and a first terminal and a second terminal respectively mounted to the housing, where the first terminal is electrically connected to the housing, and the second terminal is insulated from the housing. The battery further includes a first tab and a second tab respectively led out from the core, the first tab being electrically connected to the housing, the first tab being electrically connected to the first terminal through the housing, and the second tab being electrically connected to the second terminal.

A battery cover plate assembly includes a cover plate, an electrode terminal, a current interrupt structure, and an arc extinguishing portion. The electrode terminal is disposed on the cover plate and includes an electrode inner terminal and an electrode outer terminal. The electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal are electrically connected through the current interrupt structure. The current interrupt structure is capable of disrupting the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal under the action of a gas pressure. The arc extinguishing portion is configured to reduce an electric arc generated when the current interrupt structure disrupts the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal. When the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal is disrupted, an arcing effect is generated due to high voltages at positive and negative electrodes of the battery.

The flipping member is to be electrically connected to a score member, and can act under an effect of air pressure to break a score on the score member so as to cut off the electrical connection to the score member. A first connection region to be electrically connected to the score member and a second connection region to be electrically connected to an outer electrode terminal of a battery are formed on the flipping member. A deformation cushion region is further formed on the flipping member. The deformation cushion region is disposed between the first connection region and the second connection region and around the first connection region.

A battery cover assembly includes a cover plate, an electrode inner terminal and an electrode outer terminal. The electrode inner terminal is electrically connected to the electrode outer terminal through a current interrupt structure disposed on the cover plate. The current interrupt structure includes a sealed chamber configured to fill a gas-producing medium therein. The sealed chamber is configured to make the gas-producing medium to be electrically connected to positive electrodes and negative electrodes of a battery. When a voltage difference between the positive electrodes and negative electrodes of the battery exceeds a rated value, the gas-producing medium is capable of producing gas, to disrupt the electrical connection between the electrode inner terminal and the electrode outer terminal under the action of the pressure of the gas.

The present disclosure discloses a single-cell battery, a battery module, a power battery, and an electric vehicle. The single-cell battery includes a case, a battery cell accommodated in the case, an electrode terminal electrically connected to the battery cell, and a cover plate for sealing the case. The electrode terminal is disposed on the cover plate. The electrode terminal includes a battery post passing through the cover plate and electrically connected to the battery cell with an internal guide member. The single-cell battery further includes a current interruption device mounted on the battery post. The current interruption device includes a flipping member in communication with gas inside the case. The flipping member is connected to an outer end surface of the battery post with a connection point. The connection point is configured to be disconnected under action of air pressure.

A battery spacer, an electric core protection assembly having the battery spacer and a power battery are provided. The battery spacer includes: a spacer body; a plurality of protrusions, each protrusion protruding from an inner surface of the spacer body, extending in a longitudinal direction of the spacer body, and formed by recessing a portion of an outer surface of the spacer body; a plurality of grooves formed in the outer surface of the spacer body, each groove corresponding to one of the plurality of protrusions respectively and formed by recessing the portion of the outer surface of the spacer body; and a plurality of liquid guiding slots formed in the outer surface of the spacer body and extending from the grooves to an edge of the spacer body respectively.

The core includes a first electrode tab connected to a first current collector and a second electrode tab connected to a second current collector of the core. The protection component includes two insulating layers and a conducting layer disposed between two insulating layers. A battery includes a shell, a core received in the shell and having first and second electrode tabs, and first and second protection components. Each of the first and second protection components includes two insulating layers and a conducting layer disposed between two insulating layers. The conducting layer of the first protection component defines a first end electrically connected to the first electrode tab and a second end configured as a free end. The conducting layer of the second protection component defines a first end electrically connected to the second electrode tab and a second end configured as a free end.

An electrochemical storage cell is disclosed that comprises a core and a rectangular shell that receives the core snugly therein. The rectangular shell has first and second open ends. A first end cap is used to close the first open end. An anode terminal extends through the first end cap from an interior portion of the electrochemical storage cell to an external portion thereof. A first gasket is secured within the rectangular shell between the first end cap and the core to resiliently hold the core away from the first end cap. A second end cap is used to close the second open end. A cathode terminal extends through the second end cap from an interior portion of the electrochemical storage cell to an external portion thereof. A second gasket is secured within the rectangular shell between the second end cap and the core to resiliently hold the core away from the second end cap.
