A locking arrangement for plug connectors, comprising a first locking device and a second locking device. The two locking devices can be plugged together and engaged with one another. At least one blocking element is provided for engaging the first locking device with the second locking device. The blocking element is suitable for mechanical engaging and can be actuated and released via an actuator. In addition, another actuator is arranged in the first locking device or in the second locking device to protect against failure of the locking arrangement. The engaging of the two locking devices can be released by the actuator, even when the actuator fails. The first locking device and the second locking device are provided for use in a plug and a corresponding counter plug.

Locking device for plug connectors

Disclosed is a plug-in connector module having at least one optical waveguide and at least one optical sensor, preferably a photodiode, which is arranged near the optical waveguide. The optical sensor can reliably detect malfunction of the plug-in connector module in good time. Also disclosed is a method for detecting signal losses during signal transmission in an optical plug-in connector module, in which an optical signal is guided through at least one optical waveguide of the plug-in connector module, and the optical signal is scattered in the event of a structural defect of the optical waveguide or dirt on the front surface of the optical waveguide, the scattered light reaching a photodiode and a current or a voltage being produced thereby on the photodiode. If a threshold value of the current or the voltage on the photodiode is exceeded, an interference signal is generated by an electronic evaluation system.

Optical plug-in connector module for a modular industrial plug-in connector

A device for data transmission from a plug connector housing includes a data module for storing and forwarding data, a plug connector housing with a cable outlet opening and a threaded cable connection, and an adapter module which has at least one cable passage area. The adapter module has a cable inlet opening on a first end of this cable passage area and a cable outlet opening on a second end of this cable passage area, wherein the adapter module can be fastened with its cable inlet opening on the cable outlet opening of the plug connector housing, and the threaded cable connection can be fastened to the cable outlet opening of the adapter module so that the adapter module can be fastened between the cable outlet opening and the threaded cable connection.

Device for transmitting data

An electrical contact element with an integrated sensor is provided. The contact element has a groove, at least a portion of which extends on a plug-in side of the contact element. An optical fiber is provided in the groove. The optical fiber is designed in such a way as to be suitable as a sensor for measuring the temperature or the air humidity.

A modular plug connector includes a plug connector housing, a retaining frame accommodated therein, and at least one plug connector module. The retaining frame is connected to the plug connector housing by fasteners. The at least one plug connector module is accommodated in a module slot in the retaining frame by retaining elements. The plug connector modules are equipped with sensors, which are connected to evaluating electronics in the module plug connector. The evaluating electronics are provided for processing and rendering measured values of the sensors in the plug connector modules, recognizing the accommodated plug connector modules, and managing the configuration of the modular plug connector.

Method of configuring a modular plug connector

A disadvantage of the prior art consists in the fact that the RFID transponders attached to plug-in connectors have a range that is insufficient for many applications. The present disclosure provides a design for a plug-in connector housing with an RFID transponder integrated therein, which allows a range that is greater than the one possible in the prior art. This object is achieved as a result of the fact that the antenna of the RFID transponder includes a slot, so that the antenna is a slot antenna.
